Handi Stop

This unassuming gas station is a diamond in the rough. Best bbq in a hundred miles at least!! Brisket tacos are amazing and very reasonably priced. The tacos are also very big and very filling. Barbecue sauce is excellent. The staff is very friendly. They also have Hunt Brothers Pizza here which is always great and a fresh made pizza can be ready and as little as seven minutes. If you are in the area driving through like I was this place is a must. If anything you have to get the brisket taco, you will not be disappointed!

Don’t let the “live bait” sign scare you from trying the food. I will drive out of my way to get a fajita taco any time I’m in the area! Phenomenal.

Brown bag special is awesome. Chopped beef (brisket) sandwich with potatoes chips and a cookie. They also sell pizza and other BBQ items. Friendly staff, clean restrooms, lottery tickets sold here.

Best BBQ inside with a full sit down restaurant ("Brush Country Catering"). I never pass thru town without stopping. BBQ closes at 7pm.

Always stop here on our way to San Antonio and on our way back home to the valley. Great service, super clean restrooms and great luck on lotto tickets.
