Visitor center that is well decorated and maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They guided me based on my itinerary. And how to be well prepared for the big bend national park trip.

It is places like this that make the trips easy and planned.

Wow! If there’s anything you want to know about the Alpine/Marfa area, this is your information expert! The sweet lady who welcomed us had a wealth of information. Restaurant recommendations, scenic drives, local shops, museums, hours of operation of businesses, hotel info, grocery stores, local parks, maps, history, climate, you name it! I highly recommend stopping into this very cute welcome center because you’re going to discover how much there is to enjoy in this beautiful area. It’s definitely worth your time.

We couldn’t be more thankful to Laura who was the person in charge when we went to the visitors center. She really wanted to let us know what we could do in our time visit and was so very helpful! We didn’t intend to spend a lot of time in this town but she gave us so many interesting approaches that we finally stayed much longer than we wanted to. We loved the town so much we will come back! That was a five star-experience!

It was closed when we got there but it's a nice place to be. There's a lot of benches and chairs to have a break. There's a lot of flyers, maps and brochures available even if the place it's no open.
