Fantastic store. Not only for a turn the size of Alpine, but I'd go here over Lowe's just for the customer service. Very friendly, interested folks who like to talk about your project and help you get what you need. Store is very easy to navigate, and the website is very functional.

The employees are exceptionally helpful and they are very knowledgeable with any question you may have!

Loved delivering here. My only complaint is that every time someone came in with a pickup truck they stopped u loading me and loaded then which could be their policy but I’m not sure. The staff were very friendly though and very straight forward process. Will definitely deliver again if given the chance to.

I bought the best aromatic cedar boards I’ve ever seen today at MCCoys in Alpine. They are beautiful!! Thanks for keeping them stocked. I had plenty to choose from and I was able to get exactly what I was looking for.
Robert is an awesome manager and everyone there is so helpful and friendly. They treat us like family! Now if they would just sell groceries and horse feed I wouldn’t shop anywhere else in town!

This store is great in the desert of hardware stores. There is literally not much else to choose from. But they have a great selection, helpful staff, and decent prices.

McCoy's was great we needed some items because the power was out and there was a winter storm going on. They were able to help us and check us out even with no power.

Family-owned building supply chain located throughout Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico.

Great selection of merchandise for the not-so-populous Big Bend region, with stock geared towards what is needed/used most locally. So this location has a bent towards ranching and agricultural as well as residential building materials. They will carry some of the items you'd find in El Paso or Midland, but not all. Conversely, they will carry a lot of items you'd be harder-pressed to find in El Paso or Midland (e.g. the selection of doors on-site is smaller, but the selection of ranch gates is bigger.)

If you are the type who researches and wants a particular model, plan ahead. Be prepared to place a special order, which can take a couple of weeks or even longer.

For things like garden/patio, head to True Value instead (the True Value Garden Center is next to Porter's Thriftway, across the street from the main True Value Hardware.)

McCoy's offers exellent customer service and a well-run place in general. The website is also a helpful resource for hours and to see what's in stock at your local McCoy's.

Didn't have the item I was searching for. I asked cashiers about the item and they confirmed that the item wasn't available. All good!
