Alpine Small Animal Practice

Thank you to Dr. Zack and Team for seeing us on very short notice with our sick standard poodle. We, like many others, were headed toward Big Bend national park and needed assurance our dog would be OK once we were in the park. The entire staff was very professional, pleasant, caring, and compassionate. Dr. Zack spent time explaining and educating on what we needed to do. Thank you for saving our trip and I’m happy to give them the highest recommendations.

Update; once again I've returned only to be amazed. I brought my babies for yearly vaccines and check ups and once again we were treated like family.

The best vet I have ever taken my sweet baby boy Moses (Boston terrier) to.
He had an abnormal mass that burst and this office was quick to get him in. Recently he had surgery and they were so informative through the entire process. Professional, compassionate, and affordable. No price gauging etc.. you can tell they care about their patients. Beyond grateful

The absolute BEST! While here on vacation we had an emergency with our lab. They were kind enough to see us, do the surgery and keep us well informed. If I lived here, they would be our family vet. Vet and staff are great!

Dr. Zack was wonderful! We were traveling and they got us in the next morning. He spent time explaining the diagnosis and meds. They are both home, Heather, and happy. (Even tried to recruit him up to Colorado. )

Both vets are absolutely fantastic. They are so caring and you can tell they love to help pets. Especially in the roughest situations, they really come through.

Absolutely love the Dodson's. They always take very good care of my pups, even if they're skiddish. The make the visits simple and quick, always answering any questions I have and take the time to explain things. Glad to have Dr. Zach come back and offer big animal vet services, gives many people more options in the area. Make sure to call in advance as they are always busy with clients!

Zach was really nice. Went j for a little blood work and to look at my girls eye - He took time to sit and talk with me a bit, which I really appreciated.

Dr Mary, & Dr Zac Dodson are absolutely the very best! They are always extremely professional, knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, caring, & responsive to all of our veterinary needs. Their facilities are also spotless clean which we always appreciate & take comfort in when our animals are undergoing a procedure. I will never forget the day our beloved Australian Shepherd was diagnosed with cancer, & although things were crazy busy, Dr Mary just took the time out of her busy schedule to sit with us outside & answer all of our questions, put our minds at ease, & in that moment I felt that we were her only clients even with everything else going on. We have always felt due to their incredibly quick response to our dogs fibrosarcoma diagnosis, that our dog is alive, healthy, & happy today. Dr Zac also has always been more than patient & kind with all the challenges we have presented to him, even including dealing with our “not so friendly” mouser cat! We feel so truly blessed to have both Dr Mary & Dr Zac for all of our veterinary needs, & would give them a 10 star rating if possible!

Dr. Mary always spends as much time as necessary to answer my questions. She and her tech are patient with my dog. The front staff is very friendly and explain any delays. We have always been very pleased with the service and attention given our dogs.

Dr. Mary and Dr. Zac have both been such amazing vets for my family and me! I have never once had an issue with their practice or felt that they didn’t have our best interest in mind. I plan to be a faithful client for life!

Dr Zack is very good. We are from out of state and we needed help diagnosing an issue with our Standard Poodle. He got us in right away. Alpine Tx is lucky to have him in the their city!

The fact that they also board my pup when I have to go out of the area is an added benefit. My dogs are always ready to come home when I pick them up, but they're also always ready to "visit the clinic".
