Excellent Medical Clinic. A true blessing for our small area of Texas in Fort Davis. Susie we find to be compassionate and extremely efficient. The entire staff is 5 stars!

Dr. Luecke is caring but very difficult to reach. His clinic is only open 4 days a week and he is closed for 2 hours in the middle of the day. His receptionist does nothing to facilitate care; she is awful. I needed an order faxed to a gastroenterologist to help coordinate timing with other med appointments in San Antonio and don’t understand why I must wait 5 days for that to be written and faxed. She also does not return calls- had a mammogram that required follow-up but the imaging center sent the pics to the wrong doctor. She was supposed to call me back to let me know Luecke’s office had finally received them. She didn’t bother, delaying my care even longer. If you need a colonoscopy, good luck. Luecke requires 3 separate trips, a total of 520 miles of driving for me, to make that happen. Not possible because I live alone and have dogs that need a sitter, and I have no one to drive me or pick me up for the 160 mile round trip for the actual procedure. When I asked the receptionist if the process could be streamlined, I was told that’s just how he has always done it. I’m looking for a different pcp because if a doctor makes it so inconvenient and difficult to schedule the care you need, IT IS NOT MEDICAL CARE.
On a positive note, his clinic has a great nurse practitioner.

Dr. Luecke is great. Susie his " receptionist " doesn't want to do her job and gets upset when you confront her on it. Had to fire Dr. Luecke as my provider because of her

This review is not for Dr. Luecke but his nurse practioner, Pam. She was very unprofessional and unhelpful when I had a concern about my son. I won’t ever be back to this office.
