Had a special occasion for daughters engagement, about 30 people. The owner and stall bent over backwards to make the occasion more special. Really cool place, the have done a great job reviving and old place. We had a blast and will return. Great Music also.

This Hotel is a must-stay for anyone! It’s like you step back in time to an old western town hotel. They have preserved it so well and everything is so organized, clean, and welcoming. The country western music that’s playing when you enter the lobby with an old saddle and creaky wood floors walking upstairs to the awesome rooms in itself set the energy of our whole stay. As we got ready for the evening, dinner, & entertainment below in the most cutest Cantina, courtyard, kids sand box play area & mini stage-you can hear the live guitar start playing-warms the heart & soul. A moment of quite simple revival and a healing weekend retreat indeed.

A true West Texas treat to stay at such a unique Hotel at the edge of Caprock Canyon. The town is very quiet and charming. Beautiful street lamps illuminate a historic main street and not far away is a state park where you can hike, bike, fish or just stargaze while listening to the coyotes serenade. Hope you enjoy Turkey, Texas and the Turkey Hotel as much as my son and I did.

It’s not very fancy but it’s one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed at. The food was amazing. We ate there 2 nights and everyone loved the food. Wednesday was wings and pizza night. The wings and pizza both were outstanding.
The staff and the people in Turkey are very friendly. Loved our trip there

What a neat place off the beaten path! The hotel has quite a charming and rustic feel with well maintained amenities! In other words - you get to feel like you stepped back in time without losing modern luxuries! (Nice shampoos, bedside charging outlets, AC, and nice TV).

Bed was very comfy and it was fun to walk around the hotel to see the neat decorations from throughout time! I’ll be back!

We loved our visit to Hotel Turkey! We chose one of the shipping containers and I’d highly recommend it. Perfect for two adults and one child. It was also far enough away from Saturday night music that our room was quiet. Cozy, cute decor, and comfortable space. The whole location is charming, we enjoyed good food all weekend and the giant sandbox with shade was perfect for entertaining our kiddo while we listened to live music! Make sure to line up your stay with their once/month Sunday BBQ lunch- seriously the best brisket I’ve ever had!! Staff were always helpful and friendly and made us feel really welcomed!

Not a review but I have a question and can't get the website to come up. Dog friendly? We're cyclists and wonder where bikes would be stored overnight too.

This place is a charming step back in time about 100 years. Comfortable beds, soft sheets, antique furnishings, western charm, delicious food, live music, friendly folks, and excellent service with a smile!

So we’ve been twice and both visits have been positive. This last trip we came in for a birthday. Booked one of the containers which are done very stylish and country themed. Dinner was outside on the back patio with live music. Note: if you don’t want to sit in the sun early, reserve a table under the patio! Staff is friendly and helpful beyond measure.
Little out of the way but well worth the trip for a peaceful Texas music get away!

Charm, charm, and more charm! Our first visit to Hotel Turkey did not disappoint. We stayed in one of the containers, which was stylish, trendy, clean, and comfortable. Live music and delicious food and drinks made for a relaxing, lovely evening on the patio. We will be back!

We did not stay the night. So disregard that. We saw Janie Lin Wilson. The venue is perfect! Small and intimate. Just right!!! We come back every time we are in Texas. We love Turkey! 👣🤠❤

What a delightful find!! Hotel Turkey is historic, fun and unique in all the right ways! We loved the live music and dinner was exceptional! Our eclectic converted shipping container was perfectly decorated and comfy! Even our pup had the best time, as there was plenty of room on the the hotel grounds for walks! Pat & Tina have put their heart into Hotel Turkey and it shows! We highly recommend a stay there! In fact, we would love to return!

We always have the best time at Hotel Turkey, where the motto is borrowed from a Bob Wills song: Stay all night, stay a little longer. It's a little piece of paradise in the most unexpected place. The wine is great and the people are just outstanding. The staff makes you feel right at home. Always a party and feast going on as you move toward the weekends at Hotel Turkey!

We came for a wedding the first weekend of April. We stayed in one of their container homes and loved the privacy and accommodations. The hotel staff was very friendly. Live music on the weekend was great. We had breakfast tacos Sunday morning and they were delicious. The atmosphere is kind, friendly, and makes you fall in love with the town. It was easy getting around to check out the rest of the town.

Stayed here while on a long road to visit every state park in the Panhandle. We were here on a weekend night so the restaurant downstairs got very busy and a band was playing music, it didn't get too loud in our upstairs room, and earplugs were provided if needed. This property is historic so the floors creak and the door squeak, but the wife & I love historic buildings so we didn't mind the extra character. An excellent breakfast is included and served downstairs. My wife is pretty picky about where we stay and what she eats but has already told me she wants to return to Hotel Turkey & Caprock in the spring so I have to give them 5 stars based on that. The hosts here are very pleasant and accommodating.

Absolutely incredible experience! We have two toddlers who loved the sand box and open space to run! Amazing food and locally sourced meats from Red Raider Meats. Our entire extended family has now stayed here and has completely loved it. The environment, live music, food, service and rooms were great! We have now stayed in the Hotel and a container. The container was great privacy with our noisy toddlers!
