Count Gilu Motel

Staff is amazing. Very welcoming. As others have stated it is an older motel but very cozy and the beds are comfortable. Only stayed for one night but would stay here again. Room was clean.

Rooms are dated in decor, but for me that’s what I loved. Shower had been updated, beds were comfy, and staff are excellent and extremely nice. Will stay again.

Always comfy and cozy. Super clean! I think they even clean the ceilings. I bet you can't find dirt anywhere. The best place I have ever stayed! We love it!!!

Very nice little motel in the area. I usually stay at the big chain hotels but there wasn't one for over an hour and either direction so I decided to give this place a try and was glad I did. Rooms were super clean.

I Love this Place, Mona and Johns people skills baliviated what I've seen from other businesses in the same field, the rooms are 5 stars in my appinion, it's beautiful and peaceful surroundings topped it off. Everyone in Welch is very pleasant.

This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. Manager was super nice and took care of us he was the best. Plus trailhead was right out door for ATV riding.

While I didn't stay at the hotel, the staff was extremely helpful when left there with no ride. They let us charge our phones and told us how and where to catch the bus to Bluefield.

I really like this place will come again !! But ants got my food !! I can deal w ants!! It was quiet during day cause I worked third shift noone bothered me I slept great !! Felt like home !!

The staff is the hardest working staff around, from the owner to all the employees, they make you feel like you are at home. Cleanliness, friendly , and kindness all around

Nice little price of heaven an a cool small town motel it is awesome it is off the beaten path a little but 8 out of ten for everything else thou.

The BEST place to stay in Welch WV! Like going back in time but with wifi and cable this is a good place to stay!

This hotel is a unique gem that has all the charm of a 1950s roadside hotel. Large bathroom and clean sheets helped make the stay very enjoyable.

Place looks nice never been just wondering does this place offer Weekly rates thinking about moving to west Virginia next year and need place till I get apartment.

I love the Count Gilu. Clean, friendly, and tucked away. The people there make it a homey place to visit.
