As a wheelchair user I have to of course give my review on the accessibility.. from what I saw I'd give them a 9.5/10 on accessibility! Lovely concrete slab for the handicap parking. Flat open floor plan. Large awesome bathroom. Great food from the burger & salad my bf & I ordered.

Best food you can find in Alpine.
You’ll be caught off guard by everything amazing inside, when you drive though the gravel parking lot and pull up to this unassuming metal building.
The freshness and quality of food is out of this world.
The watermelon and strawberry salad was big and so refreshing.
The catfish plate was probably the best I’ve ever had.
The pork chops were tender. The sauce on top was almost reminiscent of German food.
The decor inside is gorgeous.
And the staff is superb.
The outside atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in a vacation resort.
If possible, make reservations.
Only open lunch and dinner Wednesday-Sunday. My only regret is not going back for more food or getting adult beverages.
A slice of Heaven in the middle of nowhere.

I drove a cross country team to dine at Spicewood Restaurant which provided reserved seating for the team, coaches & chaperones. The two waitresses provided Excellent Service although they were very busy to say the least. The food was very good, I had the Green Chili burger with sweet potato tots Delicious!
The rear patio has a nice view of the desert & hills with big red granite boulders scattered about.
YES, I would recommend this restaurant while in Alpine, Texas

Delicious! We stopped in for a bite and really enjoyed the service, food, and atmosphere. Super friendly staff and very popular place among tourists. Plan on spending around $20 a plate, but definitely worth it for portion sizes and quality. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stopped here on our way to big bend. We had expected to get an early dinner, but they were only serving appetizers and cocktails at the bar. The appetizers large and filling. We got 12 wings that came with carrots and celery, brisket nachos, and drinks. Food was great and service was excellent. We would definitely return if we lived in the area.

This restaurant is such a gem! The exterior looks a bit dull but don’t judge a book by its cover. The interior is decorated beautifully and is so spacious and welcoming. The bar is gorgeous. Service was excellent and food was delicious. We loved the view of the mountains while we were seated. It was a lovely dining experience from start to end.

Really beautiful Christmas arrangements. For our dinner, the loaded Baked Potato side was and Spinach dip appetizer were the stars of the show. The Salmon was underwhelming.

We visited the Big Bend area a year ago and we loved it. I'm not sure how we missed this extraordinary restaurant but it was so gorgeous. The staff is great. Kudos to Christian and Bethany who made our visit spectacular. The drinks were magic and the appetizer (brisket nachos) didn't last a few minutes. We were a party of 11 and no one complained about anything. The view of the mountains is memorable and if you stay past sunset, there are tables with fire pits to enjoy. The food was absolutely delicious. Try this place before you leave the area

Glad this place was recommended to us because we probably would not have gone in after simply driving by. It is absolutely lovely inside, especially the mountain views.

The old fashion drink...hit the spot. BBQ Sandwich was good. Beautiful place, lots of space and very neat. Beautiful open patio and a nice view. Waiter was so nice and welcoming. I want to revisit with my husband and other family members and friends.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff! I had the nachos with brisket which were tasty, especially their cheese sauce. I loved the brisket so much that I ordered the brisket sandwich to go for dinner. The bartender, Carlos, was friendly and extremely polite, and he made a great Moscow Mule. Sat at the cozy bar as it was raining outside, and looks like the patio is an inviting place as well

It was my first time visiting Alpine, Texas, and a lot of people recommended Spicewood. So, when some of my local friends decided to have their 1-year old's birthday there, I was excited to try it.

The food was delicious, and the staff went out of his way to make sure that little man had a good time. We appreciate restaurants that go above and beyond.

Best restaurant in Alpine. Great environment with a nice cool patio seating area. Our server was awesome and very friendly. Shout out to Christian.

We had the ribeye steaks and they were cooked to perfection! The Brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing and definitely addictive. It was so good, we made reservations for tomorrow on our way out.

If you’re ever in Alpine, Texas, make reservations to dine at the Spicewood Restaurant. The food was excellent, and the prickly pear margarita and cucumber jalapeño margarita are superb! You will not be disappointed.

My buddy and I decided to take a detour here back on our way from Big Bend National Park. Added about an hour to our already 7 hour drive but let me tell you, it was worth every minute. After days of being in the mountains, the vibes , service and food here were all EXACTLY what we needed. Amazing food , welcoming and kind staff, and very very spacious on the inside with an amazing mountainside view. This will definitely be in the itinerary for whenever I come back to do some backpacking

Great Place. A little pricey, but if you want a Tenderloin steak that is melt in your mouth delicious, it's worth it. The New York Strip is another great option. The loaded baked potato is the best compliment to all steaks. The nachos are outstanding and have to add the smoked brisket to full appreciate this appetizer. For dessert, the lemon blueberry crumb cake can't be beat. They have a great wine list and the view is fantastic. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the real experience. If you are in the area, make the trip and you won't be sorry. Enjoy!

The place was pretty busy so we ate at the bar. The food qas great, salmon and gnocchi bowl. The cocktails were amazing. I highly recommend the Hotel Parker.

Steak was perfectly medium-rare and wife's fajitas were incredibly flavored. Definitely recommend. Good drinks. Definitely suggest asking for the patio - the large, open windows were a big add to the experience.

Locals recommend me to check this place out and it didn’t disappoint. If you love steak then this is the place for you.
