This is the restaurant you won't really find while looking on a map. But this is the restaurant you NEED to go to! We knew this was the place to be when we saw all the semi trucks parked out front stopping for some lunch. Buffet style, freshly made food that is some of the most authentic southern cooking I've had. And the little desserts are *chefs kiss* and nice and tiny so I don't feel stuffed after eating a slice of cake. I loved this place!

When you are feeling like have some real southern cooking, Elmer’s Restaurant for all the local favorites. The food is delicious and everyone knows it; therefore, you may have to wait in line if you visit during the lunch or dinner time rush hours. All prepared in the traditional style, they have usual dishes like pork chops, chicken, fish, greens, beans, mac & cheese, and cornbread. They’re also dishing up peach cobbler! If you like this review, like and share it please. Thanks and have a great day!

It's a bit of a dump with cracked vinyl seats and sticky bathroom floors but OH MY. The cooks know how to produce good Southern cooking. I had fried pork chops, fried okra, green beans and sweet potatoes. Off the charts good food, and enough for two meals for me. Was with a large group, and everyone was happy with their food.

My friends and I went to eat there and we all ordered something different and we shared our plates. Let me tell you! Everything was great! The Mushroom Swiss burger was amazing. The wings were so good and my grilled chicken bacon wrap was delicious!
They even turn the TV to the game we wanted to watch! Doesn't get any better then that! Thanks

My Favorite meat and three. Had the hamburger steak and it was just like grandma's without the see slap on the back of the head telling you to chew with your mouth closed. Plus, any place you go where they have peppers on old mayonnaise jars, you know it's like grandma's.

Excellent food. All down home country cooking, without being weighed down with tons of oil. The pork chop was great with a delicious light crust with just the right amount of crunch. The dressing was superb and NOT overloaded with sage, the accompanying gravy was spot on. The green beans, which were probably seasoned with ham hocks or neck bones, truly southern, were some of the best I have ever had. They offer corn bread muffins or rolls and a drink goes with and last but not least you get dessert! Today's choices were lemon pie, chocolate cake or cherry cobbler. Lunch buffet 11-2 pm. Can you believe you get a "Meat and Three, plus drink and dessert all for just $8.75 plus tax.
It's wonderful! My husband said the lemon pie was fantastic! They also have sandwiches and steaks and stay open till 7 most nights. By the way, they're a great group of folks too! So stop on by, you'll be glad you did!.🙂

It's way off the beaten path unless you live this way or travel through here often. The food is A-mazing. Except the hamburger steak; I think it's a frozen patty. But the pork chops, ribeyes, and fish are hand battered and cooked to order. My favorite place to eat bar none.

Great, shrimp was large and very good, so was catfish filets. Drove around 50 miles one way, but it was well worth it. Will visit again, although a 100 mile round trip. Been there three other times, steaks was very good and cook exactly the way I ordered it. Must check out the lunch buffet, very good and everything is reasonable price.
