We just got home from an incredible experience staying at Smith Lake RV & Cabin Resort!
This is the cleanest, nicest upscale Rv park you can find!!
So many amenities, superior sites and beautifully landscaped grounds as well as conveniently located to the lake and marinas.
Larry and Sandy gave us the royal treatment which seems to be the norm for this park.
We 100% recommend Smith Lake RV resort!

Had meant to write this sooner. We are blessed for the beautiful community Larry and Sandy have created. They are exceptional people with an exceptional vision that they continue to nurture grow. But it wouldn't work nearly as well without the larger community of residents. I'm not sure how any one place can have such warm, friendly and good people. This is truly a unique and special place.

Larry and Sandy are amazing people. We stayed here this past Friday and Saturday (intended for 1 night) with our 31 ft pull behind. They went out of their way to accommodate us, and even loaned us one of their golf carts to get around.

The resort itself is awesome and beautiful. It sits on the edge of Smith Lake and the views from their boardwalk are incredible. The sites, which are for sale only, are concrete stamped and stained pads, with all the amenities to include 20, 30, and 50 amp power. The saltwater swimming pools are awesome.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend you pay Larry and Sandy a visit. You won't regret it.

We visited for the first time last Sunday afternoon, and immediately signed a contract for a lot before we left. Sandy and Larry are great folks. Friendly and accommodating with a great vision and skills to create a perfect RV community. Beautiful location on Smith Lake. All of the residents that we met were very friendly and welcoming. Cannot wait to get our motorhome to its new home base.

Deeded lots. Let me come to look around. Even loaned me golf cart. Place is lovely. Lake and ponds beautiful !
Place has lots for sale allow RV but space to have a cottage cabin built.
Only negative is wish they had more trees. Understand why not but prefer green thru-out.

Amazing people, atmosphere, and pricing! You get custom lots and custom cabins for a very affordable price. Not to mention the craftsmanship in these cabins is just perfection! The property is always beautifully kept, the staff always goes above and beyond their duty to make you happy, and the people in the community are super warm and friendly! Loved Smith Lake Resort! We spent one night here in March on our drive back from Florida to Wisconsin. Sandy, the owner was so kind and congenial. She made us feel right at home, and the resort is spectacular. Wish we could have stayed longer! If you are looking to purchase, I'd highly recommend Smith Lake RV Resort.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! There's is nothing like it in country. Have your RV and build a cabin too? On Smith Lake? What? Really? YES!!!

This place has it all! If you are looking for a second place or to sell and retire. You won't find a place that has what Smith Lake RV Resort and Cabin can offer.

My wife and I bought a lot on one of the ponds. We are building a 3 season room and a fishing pier. Sandy, Larry, Cindy and all the staff are awesome to deal with.

We wanted to start RVing and we were thinking where will we store it. 😫 So we started looking and this came up in a search when looking to rent RV spots for long term lease.

We originally were going to buy & build on a parcel of land and figured we could put the RV there but that wouldnt be very secure or safe. Plus Smith Lake RV is a gated community of like minded people.

We wanted to enjoy the lake not worry about security and maintenance.

They have pools, fishing piers, slips for you boat, a private boat launch. Docks to swim off and low HOA fee's.

There is also dry storage for in/out service 3 minutes away at a prominent marina.
Because you can't leave you boat out at the slips at Smith Lake RV without being there.

This is the complete Lake life set up.

I've stayed in a lot of RV parks but when it comes to Smith lake RV resort there is no better. From the first time I was there I felt like I was home,
Both the owners and the residence that live there full-time go out of their way to make you feel at home.
There's activities, lake access and even Church on the lake. In my opinion you can't get any better than Smith lake RV resort

We loved this beautiful resort! The owners are so kind, and the amenities are maintained very well. Our kids loved the boardwalk by the lake and having a picnic under the rock ledge overlooking the lake. They also loved the beautiful pool area. We hope to return one day soon!

My wife and I stopped by unannounced on a Saturday afternoon to see what Smith Lake RV Resort offered. We were met by the owners who were very pleasant and patient with us and answered all our questions concerning the resort. They gave us a packet of detailed information to review. No hard sales pitch, they didn't even ask me for my contact information. Just honest open discussion on the properties. I was impressed with the environment and careful planning that is going into the development. They offered several options from just a RV parking pad to large cabins and even port homes. We have not decided on where to purchase yet, but this is a serious contender.

Smith Lake RV & Cabin Resort is everything they advertise and more. My wife and I moved here and it is the most peaceful and enjoyable little community we could ever live in. Residents are friendly, fun, and the amenities are great. You won't regret investing in SLRVR!

Extremely nice owner couple. Park is well thought out and clean. Its in a very quite location. Cabins have a lot of same styling which presents a cohesive atmosphere through the park, yet each has its own layout and details. Plenty of road space. Lots are some of the largest I've seen in similar parks. Plenty of RV and cabin room.

We started looking at SLRVR over a year ago on the internet and finally made a point to visit Larry and Sandy (The owners). Great people to deal with Larry's like me (just up front) and both Sandy and Larry have plans for the future growth and investment value of the Resort. After our first visit we took a detour to take a second look while on our way to Florida. They were kind enough to answer all of our questions. Needless to say, before leaving we signed a contract for the purchase of our lot and went on our merrily way to Florida. Larry said everything would be done remotely, no need to return to sign papers. Sure enough, just like they said we remotely closed via their closing attorney upon arriving back home. We can't wait to start meeting the SLRVR community and spend more time with them.

We highly recommend calling and check out Smith Lake RV Resort, and Cabins, located in Crane Hill, Al. Cheri and I look forward to enjoying partial retirement at SLRVR.

Great place if you are interested in buying a lot for your RV or camper. They also have brand new cabins for sale. They have a lot of things to do as a family such as two ponds, a huge swimming pool, swimming area on the lake, basketball, game room and a place to put in your boat. Perfect place to own a weekend getaway. Very very safe.

Great visit! Went for a Sunday Jeep ride while in Birmingham. The water is a magnificent blue/green, all sites are great. Check this place out on FB for more details.

Did a drive thru today. Very nice. These are a buy not a rent. Very expensive but you are paying for top notch amenities. Security and it's worth it if you can afford ir.

Absolutely gorgeous location on a beautiful lake, enjoyed my time thoroughly. Pleasant atmosphere, owners are great. I'd give 6 stars if able.
