Smith Lake Park

The new boat launch is nice and you can get a lot of boats in and out of the water in a short amount of time! Enough parking for big tournaments.

This is the view from the condos in crane hill, Al on smith lake. Very large, clean, peaceful and quiet lake located in Alabama.

Such a great place!! I have grown up going to Smith Lake park almost everyday. I have nothing but great things to say. This a perfect place to camp and just spend time out by the water!! (Some of the pictures are from Spring 2016 and the rest are from the firework show 2017)

We went for Fourth of July and although it was crowded, it was totally great! The fireworks were amazing and the staff was helpful. Also, there were plenty of police everywhere so the environment felt 100%safe. We had a good time swimming and checking out the local vendors and live music!

Amazing location, cabin was great, had an awesome time.

Always have a blast every single time we visit. This time we came for the firework show and it did not disappoint.

I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews about this park. The bathhouse is very clean and well kept with individual shower rooms. The staff is very nice. Talked with the park host and they still have more upgrades they are doing. Sites are clean and well maintained. Prices at this park are more than reasonable. Put put golf, pool, paddle boards and canoe rentals available. Love this park! Only down side thing was that sites are really close together… update… we just stayed her for 4 day’s AMAZING time. Thank you for offering such a nice place for families and friends. We will definitely be back. Even on Rock The South weekend no craziness and other campers we respectful.

Smith Lake Park is a great place to take the kids for a good walk along the shoreline, have a picnic, play at the park playground equipment, and take a nice swim.

We attended the annual fireworks show they host every Fourth. A great show as always. We enjoy spending time here with our family!

Very nice park. Great place for family fun. Enjoyed the fireworks display, the entertainment and the vendors. Does need more bathrooms with the crowd that was there. An hour wait in the rain especially with kids is not good. You can't take little ones in a port a Pottie. Overall though it was great.

Great camping and event venue!

Love taking my little dog here to walk around on the lake beach. Never no worries of being bothered. Very friendly people.

We attended the Sweet Tater festival. The Clog Wild Cloggers were the best attraction!

We had a wonderful time seeing family and friends. Beautiful park, nice spacious shelter.

This was our 2nd trip to smith lake in cullman al. We had a very enjoyable time. My whole family came down to spend one day (it was my 64th birthday) and they had a great time. I was there for the weekend. We had a beautiful spot for the rv with lots of shade . The park staff is very friendly and the park is very well kept. They also have for you boaters a great place to load and unload your pontoon or your boat , it's very well laid out. Thank you Smith lake for great memories.

We been coming here for the past 4 years for the 4th of July. It's our family tradition now.
Cabins and campsites are hard to get so they need to be booked way early.

Smith Lake is Definitely worth the drive.

Such a Beautiful place

The park is very well maintained. Plenty of family areas to picnic and a very nice playground with up to date equipment. We used the bath house while visiting and was amazed at how clean it was. Who ever does the cleaning, mantanence, and ground keeping definitely stats on top of there job. Will most definitely be taking the family back for another fun visit!

We had a great time camping here. Were close to the playground and our kids had a blast. We're already planning on returning in a few weeks. I agree with the others the campground should be gated and secured. But we didn't have any issues.
