Pop's Place Bar B Q

Great lunch stop, they close @ 2, except in Fridays. Their BBQ pulled pork was tender, not salty & sauce was homemade I believe. The place was packed @ lunch, a big work crowd stops in. They also do take out. They make their chips, very tasty. Great service.

Great family barbecue place. Had a friend, who likes bbq, in town from Canada. We called in advance to be sure that we could bring a little pup if we ate outside and were told that was fine. Upon our arrival there were no tables set up outside so I stuck my head inside and asked. Our waitress brought chairs outside (wouldn’t let me carry them), wiped the table, got our drinks and took our order. Evidently they don’t usually seat people outside except in cooler weather or when packed inside. Our waitress not only took care of us, but she also took good care of the dog. She brought out a bone after checking to be sure I was okay with it and asked about a bowl and water (which we had brought with us). I had the brisket nachos and my friend had a regular brisket plate. Both lunches were very good and the waitress was very attentive even though we were her only customers outside. Great folks and good food. Love their homemade potato chips. Have eaten there before and will gladly eat there again.

This place has very good food however the ribs aren't to my taste (chewy and kinda tough) the brisket is exceptional and lots of sides to choose from, downside is their hours are short and they're not open later like other restaurants, update the smoked wings are possibly the best I've ever had, tried the mushroom swiss bacon cheeseburger and oh MY! DELICIOUS 😋 Today 3/8/24 I got the smoked wings and they are outstanding, waitresses on staff are super nice people.

Left the interstate hungry, we passed the chain restaurants and we see this little place with a parking lot full of cars. So we stopped. Outside the air smelled like BBQ. Inside, nothing fancy but tables are all full except the one we headed for. A charming waitress took our order. Special requests, no problem. Quickly homemade potatoes ribbons appeared, very good. Then the main course, very generous and very delicious. We only wished we had room for dessert. Very glad we stopped!!!

Great service and food. I had brisket with baked beans and potato salad. All were very good. The brisket was so tender.

Pops is a very quaint BBQ joint with a huge menu selection and great atmosphere.It has the locally owned vibe with the wooden sign out front and the gravel parking lot. You seat yourself when you walk in and the staff grab your drink and food orders quickly. Food came out in less than 10 minutes on a Friday night. I enjoyed my brisket plate (regular size) with the free homemade potato chips as starter. I would definitely stop here again if I was in the area.

Their barbecue is great. I’ve recently tried their breakfast sandwich. It ranks as one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s prepared fresh to order. It hasn’t been wrapped and sitting under heat lamps. A great place with delicious food.

Loved this family business. Close to the interstate with plenty of parking and a drive-thru. Service with a smile. Went in for breakfast, I had a breakfast special with a side of smoked chicken. When the food was brought out also came a white bbq sauce, a local favorite. The food was amazing and the sauce was great! We also asked if it was possible to get a couple brisket sandwiches to go since it was only 9AM. They gladly took the time to make it even though they were very busy. Can't wait have them for lunch!

The pulled pork was absolutely the best I have had in a long time. It had a delicious flavor and was so tender it almost melted in your mouth. The service was top-notch! Our waitress was friendly and very helpful with questions about the menu. If you're looking for that good "down home", relaxed atmosphere, you need to try Pop's Place.

Great clean BBQ! They don't just chop it all together. I grew up in a BBQ restaurant. Best BBQ I've had in a long time

Bbq is one point. Staff is very friendly I would return. They have big truck parking.

Polite staff. Clean bathrooms. We loved the ribs, brisket and baked beans. They also have a kids menu. Great prices. Turkey was a bit flavorless for me, but husband liked it. Plenty of open parking space if you're hauling a trailer, like we were.

Definitely a great spot to stop off and grab some great food with even better staff! The Always recommend folks to stop and enjoy a break from the interstate! The atmosphere takes you back to a much simpler time. Highly recommend!

Good food and friendly staff. For BBQ the price isn't bad at all.

Pops place is the gem of dodge city reasonable priced bbq that will make your belly full and keep your wallet from screaming. If you are ever around before 10:30 this is the best breakfast for the price I have ever had. I enjoy this place. Don't forget dessert any one of their cobblers will remind you of grandmothers

A little place where everybody knows everybody. I had the hamburger steak fries and a salad.

Breakfast is always great but I wouldnt recomend the bbq
