Kat Daddy's BBQ & Grill

Our first time eating here. The BBQ plates were prepared different to what I have seen before. It was very, very good! The sauce was just right and I had fries that were cooked perfectly. The tea was.very good, not too sweet, just right. I ate all of my plate and part of my wife's. I was so stuffed!
The young lady that served was very nice, very attentive, made sure the tea was never.less than half. I would highly recommend this place, and I will be back

This place was out of this world amazing! The food the service everyone and everything couldn't have been more perfect! We will definitely be back no doubt! We can't wait to sport our Kat Daddy T-shirts from North to South & East to West trucking!

The atmosphere was enjoyable with good music, amusing decor and lots of light. Server was great and food was tasty. A bit pricey for sandwiches but isn’t everything these days?!

Great Batter on Catfish and Onion Rings. Onion Rings perfectly cooked. Hush Puppies tasty. Waitress very pleasant. Different dressing on Coleslaw. Tasted great.

We came on Sunday around 6pm. Service was quick and easy. Pleasant music. I ate and worked in Jim'n'Nicks, but onion rings in Cat Daddies were a little better. My daughter daughter said their mack'n'cheese is the best. I got the grilled cat fish, very fresh taste! Cale slaw not sour enough to my taste but I think most people will like it. My son had a pulled pork sandwich and my husband had a burger. The burger was just the way a good burger supposed to be. And pork sandwich was also pretty good. I also recommend their lemonade, it's just right! We payed $58 plus tips. Highly recommend the place!

Fabulous! We ordered food for a rehearsal dinner and it was all so good! The barbecue was tender and very tasty. The potato salad was so delicious that everyone kept asking for the recipe. The corn nuggets were a last minute addition when we placed our order, but they were a huge hit. My order was ready for pick-up on time and I was in and out with all of my food in less than 5 minutes. Great job, Kat Daddy’s!

Great food and wonderful service. Will return soon. Have all 3 sauces we love in Dixie. Pork was super tender and very tasty.

Came in town for the weekend and came to Kat Daddy's as a blind attempt at dinner. Had the best dining experience with the best service! Rooster and his wife, Hannah are the sweetest people! The many sauces that they make are all so good! If you're looking for a quality meal, go to Kat Daddy's and get the pulled pork platter.

Absolutely amazing place for home town cooking. We loved the breakfast and the waitresses were super sweet! Kat Daddy himself stopped and talked with us. Highly recommend!

My family and I tried Kat Daddy's for the first time last weekend, and it was excellent all around. Delicious food, large portions, and excellent service! We had a BBQ platter and a fried catfish platter. The BBQ was super tender and just the right amount of smokiness. The fried catfish was the best I've had at a restaurant. We will definitely be going back!

Can’t say I’ll ever be back but nice place. Stopped here for breakfast TWICE while in town for a wedding. Coffee was good, biscuits were HUGE and service was great. Wish I could remember my waitresses name. (Shorter purple hair.) She was fantastic and so sweet!

This place was GREAT!!! We showed up unexpected with a moderately large crowd, we had excellent service, DELICIOUS food, our birthday boy was treat very well, and Kat Daddy even took the time to take a photo OP with us. What a great ending to an excellent visit to the area. Thank you to you restaurant team for making our experience a great one!

Our party of five all tried different things and it was all delicious. Took leftovers home. Best fried pickles and corn nuggets I’ve ever had. Friendly and attentive staff. Wasn’t too crowded at dinner time.

Not sure where to start with this place..... The staff is some of the best you will find around. Never been in this place when the they didn't have a smile on their face and provide exceptional service. The food is awesome too! The first time I went in I thought their prices were a little high so I just ordered a burger (which I thought was still high priced), but to my surprise the burger was like king of all burgers in size. It was freaking huge!! From then on I've realized their prices may seem a little high on paper for the area, but their portions and meal size are the reason. A good place if you want good quality and big quantity food!

This was a great place to eat I had the cat fish super good my wife had the pulled pork the onion ring are wonderful will be going back for sure get a lot of food

Yesterday we ate here for the first time. The food was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh. I love the potato salad. The ribs were falling off the bone. I’m glad I discovered this place because it’s close to the house. O yea and the service was great.

This is some mouth watering good BBQ! The fried pickles are better than the ones at the beach. Service is great, and prices are good too. Its in the middle of nowhere on Smith Lake. We really enjoyed it.
