Lake Mills Motel

Stayed for 3 days at the Lake mills motel. I stayed in number 7 which is the Deer themed room. The room was clean and had a very comfortable King size bed. There is a good size fridge/freezer and a microwave. The manager Barb is very friendly and helpful. She has a great selection of breakfast foods and snacks available in the office. I would stay again anytime.

This motel is great for all travelers. Each room has a different theme. It has that down home feeling. Barb who is an angel, runs the motel she is a Godsent. She is a woman who will make you feel safe and like one of the family. The rooms are very clean and plenty of covers for those cold nights. Very pet friendly. As a traveling nurse, I recommend staying here for traveling safely and close to the job. Again, Barb is an amazing person.

I have been coming year every year because of the great service from Barb. Everyone there treats me like family. The rooms are always very clean and she has made each room with a different wildlife theme. Great idea, Barb. The rates are reasonable and the beds are so comfortable. It feels like home.

Really nice little place! We only saw the inside of room 9 but it is super cute, nice cozy design that reminds you of a cabin. The breakfast is way better than you would expect from a small motel!! Coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, oatmeal, and frozen breakfast burritos and sandwiches for you to warm up! They also have super cute little pups that come out from the owners ' quarters into the office to greet you which I LOVE ❤ Overall this is a really nice homey place that is more affordable than anything else you'll find.

Motel is excellent. Barb is the nicest lady ever and beds are great. Better than some high end hotels I’ve stayed in. Highly recommend if ever in the area.

Barb is awesome! She took care of me like I was one of her own. Will definitely be spending more time there if I am in the area. If I could give her 20 stars on a 5 scale I would!

Stayed in room 4 (the leopard room). Was surprised to find such a cozy place in the middle of nowhere. This was much nicer/cozier than the standard white sheet motels.

Owner is a kind lady that cares for her place. I would stay here again if the need came up.

It's so accommodating and relaxing the being a small mom-and-pop motel than being at a big chain hotel. The beds are more comfortable the themes in each room are more comfortable than just your regular ordinary Hotel / motel room. Stay here and you won't regret it.

Another gem 💎 in my travels, nice lady. She was very accommodating, got in about 1:30 in the morning room was warm clean, see pics. Breakfast even during COVID-19. Will be back.

Love the decor, clean room, lots of room to move about, way more bang for your buck. Beds were very soft and comfortable. Service was great. Owner/operater was very sweet and personable.

Very friendly, clean, service was excellent. Expected an ordinary small town motel, got so much more. Felt like a vacation. Free continental breakfast. Close to some very good restaurants.

A very comfortable night sleep room was beautiful and clean. It’s a shame that it’s coming to an end they closed it down and making it into apartments.

Very kind woman with a big heart does more than just rent rooms she goes out of her way for everyone nonjudgmental rooms are very clean all she does is cleans and tries to make it better for the people that come in and out she does decorations for the outside for it looks very peaceful when you do go outside she has a waterfall she starting which looks amazing she’s out going she’s a friend everybody it’s not just about the rooms it’s about how she treats people to the rooms are very unique but their own team makes you feel at home which I like

It was a awesome place...beautiful rooms.. very nice atmosphere friendly people. I met a lot of very nice people while I stayed there my 9 months....

Best place to lay your head the motel manager is just an angel ive never met such a warm loving person she makes you feel like your right at home like family..the young lady that makes up the rooms is wonderful..cleanest rooms ive ever seen.low rates and it's walking distance to the towns restaurants bars and caseys....

Fair price, clean room, Woman was nice as could be! Wish I could find a place like this everytime.

The lady that runs it is very friendly, they have pop tarts and things in the office for breakfast, and the rooms and comfortable and cozy. No bugs either

This is the best mom and pops motel I've ever stayed at in a long time a class A place to stay and I will be back when I'm through there that is for sure 👍

I love the quaint little motel each room has its own decor moose room Jaguar room etc family ran!!
