Sycamore Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry

We started taking our son here a few years ago when he got his first cavity and our original family dentist didn't want to work on him for some odd reason. I am so glad we switched! We LOVE Dr. Sarah and all of the staff that works for and with her. The office is in a beautiful old house in downtown Sycamore, IL. Most recently, we had Krystal as the hygienist and she was wonderful with our overly chatty son :)

Absolutely love the staff! We've had Tammy for every visit and my kids just adore her, she's so good at explaining what she's doing on their level and has gained their trust... and she makes their visits FUN! We also had Carter and Marissa at our last visit and they are a clear testament for the high standards Dr. Sarah has for her staff. Hands down this office sets the standard for what you should expect from a pediatric dental clinic!

After an absolutely terrible experience at another local dentist we were referred to Dr. Sarah.

Our daughter was terrified of the process, but Tammy was so incredibly patient with her from our first visit. She talked her through the entire process, made her feel comfortable and safe during the visit and our other visits to address cavities.
Dr. Sarah is so incredibly sweet as well. Our daughter is excited to go to the dentist now and to show them the teeth shes lost and her new teeth coming in. The care we receive from this office is outstanding. The entire team from the moment you walk in, to the last goodbye is always thoughtful and caring. Hilary has also been an absolute hero while explaining all the insurance details and information to us, while making it easy to understand!
We absolutely love this office and especially Tammy & Dr. Sarah!

This is my first time taking my 3 year old to the dentist and it was a great experience! Everyone was patient, informative and so helpful with the whole visit. Krystal was so welcoming and created such a good relationship with my daughter to make sure she was comfortable before getting started on cleaning her teeth. Very glad we have such a great practice locally, I can’t recommend them enough!

My four year old had a great experience! The office is beautiful, they have tvs for the kids, you are allowed to go back in the room with them, and our hygienist, Carter, was absolutely amazing! He was so wonderful with my son and really got him out of his shell and made the experience so awesome for him! Thank you Carter!!

If I could give Ten Stars I would!! Best dentists and dental hygienists EVER!! I have anxiety of dentists and so does my youngest. Friday they have officially took our anxiety away! My mother came with also and she was 100% wowed by this kid friendly, fun place to be! My daughter had to get a tooth pulled and we actually had fun with the whole situation! Yes! Fun! Felt like a girls day out with all the joking and laughing!! My heart is full with love for these guys! No joke!! This place is THE PLACE for your kids!! Also, for parents with anxiety for their children! Their communication is amazing!! They will answer all your questions as best as they can. Amazing!! I will ALWAYS recommend Sycamore Pediatric Dentistry!

Awesome office!! Everybody there was super nice and friendly. Every inch of the office is perfectly decorated for kids. Our daughter got to watch her favorite movie during her exam too! They were so beyond patient with her and explained everything in a friendly way. She was super super anxious and was dreading her visit. Halfway through she yells out “I love it here!” I highly recommend this office to anyone with children!

Best place to take your kids. I wish I could come here for my cleanings! This was our 2nd time going and definitely will continue. We had Marissa. She was extremely nice and patient with our son. Use Sycamore Orthodontics & Pediatric Dentistry. You won't be disappointed!!

My 10 year old had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist from past experience. The staff was so awesome with her. Tammy was very patient and kind with her as well as Dr. Sarah. Everyone there is so welcoming. It’s how every pediatric dental office should be!! ❤❤❤❤

Could not be more happy with this team in pediatrics! It’s an odd place to find a happy kid at the dentist, but this place is changing the stigma of “dentist fear”. My kids absolutely love the staff and going. There are no fights when we have to go, NO MATTER the work to be done. Tammy and Carter are so fun and did great today, as always. Dr. Sarah is so thorough, smart and just great energy. Thank you pediatrics team for being such a beautiful place to laugh and feel safe and at ease. They’ve encouraged my kids to be the best at brushing and it showed today! No cavities ❤❤❤

Marissa is absolutely fantastic! She is so good with both of my daughters. She makes my daughter want to go to the dentist everyday! Every staff member is so nice and accommodating. I HIGHLY recommend Sycamore Othodontics and Pediatrics to anyone looking for a dentist!

I have needed braces for a VERY long time and finally was able to get to it and was referred to Dr. B from my dentist. From the moment I called to make my first appointment all the up to as recent as today when I got a lovely card in the mail, everyone has been wonderful! Everyone and Everything is welcoming and comfortable. I have a semi long road ahead on my braces journey, but I know I have a great team on my side!

The staff was all amazing! They really made my daughter feel good about her upcoming appointments. They’re great with taking care of the kids and their feelings.

My boys love going there. They are always so friendly and welcoming. We have only been going for a short time but everyone has been amazing with my oldest getting his braces and make him feel comfortable with everything they do. Definitely recommend for everyone to come here

Excellent care and quality service! Harmonie and Dr. B were very thorough and friendly, providing wonderful care, in a quick time. Harmonie was very informative and sweet. She put my son at ease with her encouragement and explanations.

We love this practice!! My daughter hated going to the dentist before we came here! Thanks to Dr. Sarah, Tammy, and everyone at Sycamore Pediatric Dentistry, she actually now looks forward to going to the dentist!! The practice is very inviting and the staff is always welcoming!

This was our first experience with braces and we visited a few places for consultations. We felt Sycamore Orthodontics welcomed us from the minute we walked in. Yesterday my daughter got her braces on and it was a great experience for her! She was nervous and the staff was great with her. Highly recommend.

Staff is very knowledge and friendly. It was always easy to make an appointment, even on short notice. We had to make use of the after hours care a couple times for repairs and had a good experience with that as well. It’s nice how all the costs are wrapped into one price so you know what to budget for. One thing that would be great to see for the future is an online payment option.
