Bear Cabin

There is nothing not to love about Bear Lake Cabin. We stayed there for our 3rd Mom and Son trip. We had 7 moms and 7 sons and the set up was perfect. The boys had their own set up in the basement and it was very accommodating. Everything felt like quality; from the the kitchen knives, to the mattresses, bed linens and even the jetted tub. The cabin is decorated perfectly... even the red plaid carpet! Everything you ever needed to know was available via QR code. My only complaint, and it's so minor, is that signs in all the bathrooms allude to a "sensitive" plumbing system, but there were no plungers available when a "sensitive" issue arose. All in all, this place is fabulous. I'm already thinking of planning another trip there!

Great place to stay! We brought adults and kids and there was plenty of space in the cabin and the property itself. Tons of activities in surrounding area including fishing, boating, kayaking, golf & restaurants. Would recommend bear cabin to anyone I know.

We had a great time at Bear Cabin this last weekend! It’s such a beautiful location with all the amenities! One of my favorite things was sitting in the hot tub in the evening! The sky was so clear and the stars were putting on a show!! The towns near Bear cabin had a lot to offer and we had some great meals! You will not be disappointed with your stay at Bear Cabin!!

There were four couples, we rented it together. The house and grounds were immaculate, and supplied with everything we needed. Three full floors, plus attached garage, huge porch with picnic table and lots of nice chairs and a hot tub. Was also a fire pit and chairs to use. The crooked river is behind house and they supply kayaks for the guests use along with outside and inside games. Also has washer and dryer on main floor and a set in the basement. Mackinaw Island and Petosky are just two of many sights to visit near by. We will definitely rent again!

The cabin is beautiful and super clean. It’s everything described and more. The cabin the balcony’s the amazing huge yard right in the water. The boats coming down the channel they are all super friendly. And the area we went to mackinaw city which is amazing half hour away and we took the ferry to Mackinac island we also went to pictured rock which was two hours away also amazing visited torch lake lake Michigan lake Huron and Superior lake

Bear Cabin is spacious, clean and stylish. The peaceful setting is beautifully landscaped on the river. Easy access to attractions and excellent restaurants. I will definitely stay here again! I highly recommend Bear Cabin.

Great place to stay in Northern Michigan. Location is fantastic. It’s close to both Nubs and Boyne for skiing. The house is cozy with a lovely river next to it. If you enjoy shopping, eating, and outdoor sports this place is awesome. We will be back!

This home and property are outstanding. Owners Brent and Katie were very helpful and communicated well. Gave information on thing's to do in area. Home, property, whirlpool all were in great condition. Very Beautiful home. Very comfortable. Definitely would highly recommend.

Our family vacation couldn’t have been more enjoyable! The cabin and grounds are impeccable. The owner’s attention to detail were exceptional. All of the recommendations were spot on. Will definitely recommend to friends.
