Sunset Beach Cottages

This place was pretty much exactly what I expected based on their website and the phone conversation I had with the owner. I didn't really enjoy my stay but that was because of things that aren't their fault - the beds were too small for me (which I knew when I made my reservation), and it was incredibly hot (and I already knew there is no air conditioning). My wife and kids didn't seem to have a problem with either of those issues.

We stayed in the #6 cottage. It has a full kitchen with pots/pans/utensils and refrigerator/stove/microwave. The only thing they should really try to improve is the wifi - it was useless.

My favorite feature was the beach access. Our cottage had a great view of the water, and it only took one minute to go from inside the cottage to swimming in Lake Huron. I also really liked the common area, and enjoyed having a beer by the fire pit with some vacationers at night.

If you reserve, it is cheapest to do so by phone, as there are built-in fees when booking online.

Super cute, clean, and the owner is a peach. Nothing fancy, but everything you need. Close to Port Austin & Caseville, great beach and common area to hang with friends both old & new. I will for sure visit again.

We have been going here for family vacation for over 20 years. The location right on a sandy beach is perfect. The water is shallow and warm, perfect especially for kids. New owners are great. Located close to Caseville and Port Austin for shopping and dining. Great getawayfor all.

Super clean, right on the lake, private and away from the busiest part of town. Easy access to both Port Austin and Caseville, state park, and plenty of activities. Owners were great and checked in on us. Loved it!

Amazing cottages and great view. Everyone here is nice and the cottages inside feel cozy, and like home. I really enjoy spending time here with my family, and you will too!

This place is so charming beautiful beach, yard,and landscaping. The new owners have been making numerous updates and continue to freshen everything up one Cottage at a time. Can't wait to visit again this year.

Perfect weekend at Krebs Cottages. Clean, friendly, and a beautiful beach. Other guests were friendly and respectful. Highly recommended this place for your upcoming thumb vacation.

Loved the place and had it all to ourselves after Labor Day.
