A Papano's Pizza

Been eating food from here for years, I've only had l three times where the bread is doughy, that's my own fault because I put too many toppings on mine sometimes. the oven never gets a chance to get to the dough inside lol.
Always amazing food. Friendly staff and definitely worth 5 for coming for parties 🎉 or more casual outings with the family.
They bring the food out to you pretty quickly unless they are slammed and still, within 20 minutes I get my food 💯

We were very impressed when we opened the box and saw our pizza. It's a thicker crust pizza with loads of toppings. The flavor is delicious and it's cooked perfectly. It's also super nice that this spot is open late. Would recommend!

This is the spot...Do not buy pizza at the mountain its garbage and way overpriced. This place is legit Regardless of the limited options for other places to eat

The staff tonight was amazing. They worked very well together and had our food out very fast. Our subs were the best I’ve had in a very long time. Very fresh and flavorful! Over all 10/10. Shane and Alivia were very friendly!

I've been eating here for years now and I must say this is one of the best restaurants around. I Would also like to say thank you shane and alivia for being so diligent and having a positive attitude everytime I see them. Thanks for the many years of top notch service 👏

Very good! First time I've eaten here. I can't vogue for the pizza yet because we only got subs and cheese bread. I got the little Vincent... super good! My boyfriend got the pizza sub. He liked it a lot, but wished the bread had been more crunchy. The bread is on the thicker side, but was yummy! The girl who answered the phone was very nice and friendly! Very sweet! We ordered close to closing time (which I HATE to do), and I expected typical rudeness or just not answering the phone, but she did was super nice! We will definitely go there again!

That pizza wasn’t really expected to be that good. We just stop there for some food and food was mind blowing.

Always my go to for pizza. The pizza taste like no other. Lots of toppings, and flavor. We can order weekly and it never gets old. The subs, and sides are phenomenal. The service is outstanding. Our foods always ready in a timely major. The staff is very customer service ready greeting us with smiles and appreciation. Thank you papanos of thompsonville, we'll be back lots more times...

Great deal on 2 medium pizzas, and the pizza tasted great! This place was recommended by a person at Crystal Mountain Resort. For directions he mentioned it was in a gas station which made a few in my party question if it would be good. But once we got there and saw the menu, we knew it would be good.

We ordered the Sicilian adventure pizza and the venetian veggie, they were both so good! Loved the pesto sauce, garlic and sesame crust 😋

This place is wonderful 👏 ❤ . If I eat out its here @apapanos in thompsonville. Employees are kind and attentive. The pizza and mozzarella breadsticks are to die for! 😁 if you get a salad 🥗 they make sure its filling. And if you don't want something that comes on it they ask if you would like to replace it or if you would like more of something else. Absolutely love the people and food!

Update to the update: Back to 5 stars, we have eaten here quite a few times now, it's great! Please keep up the great work!

Previous Update: Below is my original review, thank you for your quick response. I'm upping it to 4 stars because of it, also, maybe it was an off day or maybe I was overly sensitive because of what I had heard. I will of course be ordering more pizzas, and will update again. Thanks again!

ORIGINAL: Um, so we order from here all the time, we have for many years. The pizza has always been top notch, "better than Ellens" according to my wife. Something changed recently... It started when our friends (who also order from here all the time) said "something's different, they changed something, it's not as good." OK well, maybe that's just their opinion. Then the kids at the local school (BV) started telling my kids the same thing. Hmm... Well, we ordered the pizza we ALWAYS order (medium Mediterranean with garlic parm crust) typically AMAZING, has been for many years! This time... not amazing. Really kinda blah. It was pizza, but it wasnt what we have come to love with Papano's. My wife thinks it's the crust, I think it's the sauce. Honestly it's probably both.

I see the owner sometimes answers these posts, so I would just like to say. If you have changed your recipe on crust, or sauce, (or both), PLEASE go back to what you had, it was so good. Word is getting around. You'll probably still get the Crystal traffic, but us locals are dropping like flies. If you haven't changed anything about your recipe, then maybe some quality control is the answer, or something. I'm sorry to leave such a review, but without the negative input, how would you know what to improve on, or if a change you made was the right choice or not. Maybe it was a corporate decision, if so please feel free to share this with whomever.

I honestly can't speak for the quality of anything other than the pizza, we have never had a problem with this establishment (even when we had to take our receipt to the gas station counter and back again to pay with a credit card, haha. Good times, good times) Anywho those are my thoughts, feel free to disagree with me. But I had to say something. Thank you for your time, Jason

I pick up a slice after skiing at Crystal mountain every time I go. Sunday seems to be best. They put seasoning on the crust that is good. Crust is perfectly done. Much improved from years back.

I have always had a pleasant experience with Papanos, awesome customer service and nice team! Pizzas and subs are Delicious! Thank you so much for keeping us going through some of the gloomiest days through this whole covid-19 crud, you guys rock!

Right outside of Crystal Mountain Resort. Had a pizza and a salad, both delicious and ready when it said it would be.

As always the food was great.

I used to work near this A Papano's location and we would all go there for lunch. I always wanted to try something new but I couldn't resist there Pizza! It was Awesome!
