Bob & Kate are great people. They will take there time to sit and vist. And ask how the family is. For many years our family had been going to this resort. Only saddly to have stopped going a few years ago. But have been back with friends and and of late the past 5 years with the fire dept. This resort is like home. I hope a new chapter is to start with our family again. Could not fine better owners and resort to spend time at.

We're a third of the way through our one week stay. So far it's been wonderful. The furnished cabins makes it very easy to just live the Lake Life and not worry. The beach is a nice place and the kids have been enjoying the different water toys that are available. There aren't fire rings at every cabin, but the ones near the beach are good and not a far walk. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family has stayed at this resort every year for 40 years. It’s changed names and several owners, but it’s only gotten better with time. We love the cabins, the grounds, the amenities and owners - they’re our family too. We look forward to coming up here every year. If you want an amazing vacation in a gorgeous setting, look no further.

First time stay for us and we loved it. Very nice cabins. We were in #12, a bit more secluded, loved it. Met many people there that have come year after year. Nice beach with water toys, clean grounds.

Our family spent another beautiful week, creating memories for years to come. As we drive in the smiles, waves of other cabin families, beautiful well kept lawns, flowers and Bob and Katie welcoming us back, our grandsons love them and both Bob and Katie always have time to listen and laugh with them! The fresh and spotless cabin is ready for us to relax in, everything we could think of is there ready to use. The beach is clean with many sand toys, paddle boats, kayaks,and rentals of boats and pontoons.The week is full of social events and the visiting with other cabin families with an ice cream social and donuts by the campfire, the youth have a daily clue for a scavenger hunt and Molly has a fun and exciting "bug" hunt at the beach, what a wonderful resort to spend time with our grandsons, daughter and son in law. We always hate to leave but we have already booked for next summer. We always have great fishing, caught over 100 fish this year.You will not find a cleaner, more relaxing or friendlier place to stay.

Great resort. Nice beach and play area for children. Lovely cabins with big decks. Plenty of dock space. Great views of the lake from your cabin.

If you are looking for a quiet stay in God's country...in a well kept cabin with everything needed for a great vacation...look no further. Bob and Kate are wonderful people and my kids love em...this is a excellent place to take a family for summer vacation. Cabins 12 and 8 which I have personally stayed in have very modern interiors.I have also stayed in 7 as well as 3 which were very nice but have also been redone since i stayed in them.I used to hop around to different resorts each year until we stayed here...been coming back to Hidden Haven now for at least 7 years...that says it all!

We've been staying here for years and love it. We book three cabins for five families with nine kids ages 0-15 and it is perfect for our crew. Nice cabins, great beach, fun activities, good fishing and friendly owners make this a perfect vacation spot for our crew. The only bad part is trying to get the kids to leave at the end of the week!

Hidden Haven is an awesome place for a getaway vacation. We have been coming here since 2006 and have enjoyed every minute of it. If our schedule allows, we will come up twice during the year. The owners, Bob and Katie, are great hosts who will do everything they possible can to make your stay comfortable. The resort is beautifully nestled in the trees on the shore of Bass Lake. We have enjoyed our time fishing on the lake and also just going down to the beach and relaxing while enjoying the beautiful scenery. We call Hidden Haven our "home away from home".

We LOVE Hidden Have Resort, as well as the resort owners, Bob and Katie. We have just returned from our 4th consecutive year at their place and have enjoyed everything about it. We have 4 year old triplets and also come with an extended family that take up another 5 cabins. Everyone has re-booked for next year. This is a family-friendly resort with many amenities for families but also with the understanding that this is the great North Woods and there are no guarantees. Two years ago a major storm wreaked havoc on their place right before our visit. Without electricity, with trees down everywhere, cabins damaged, etc. and a warning that we could not stay until the electricity was back on, we had faith and traveled hoping that it would come on for our stay...it did... about 1 hr before our arrival. We were welcomed with open arms. They have done an incredible job cleaning up and really work to make this a great experience.

The cabins are very clean and air conditioners were recently installed in cabins 1-6 for this year. The beach is kept up very nicely and, because I read this on a previous review, I have an expectation that there will always be things out of the control of humans. That is the beauty of nature. A previous review commented on a leach problem. Really? If you want no leaches, stick with water parks. This is nature! For the first time this year, my son got a leach and we told him they use them to medically treat people. He was fine with it and we never perceived this as an issue to begin with.

There are family friendly events: ice cream, freshly made doughnuts, games for the kids, etc. Those are only options if you wish to attend. You can have a perfectly secluded week of fishing if you choose as well. The owners children are also a big part of the stay and we admire their hard work to making everyone enjoy themselves.

I rarely write reviews but if you want a great place to stay in Northern Minnesota, I highly recommend Hidden Haven.

Great place to stay. This is about our 6th year of staying at Hidden Haven. Never had a problem in all those years. Every stay was enjoyable. The grounds and cabins are well maintained and comfortable. Bob and Katie are great host and always helpful. Plan on returning for many more.

Beautiful resort with a great beach and lake. Cabins are ideal for all size of familes and are very clean. Owners are awesome, we will be back for years to come.

Great beach for kids with plenty of tree coverage for adults. Good fishing with easy access. Kept up and clean grounds. This was our third year here and won't be our last.

Staying for only a couple nights this year, but our son & family is up here for a week. I mainly wanted to see it cuz next yr we have 3 cabins for a week with our kids & grandkids. So far everything is perfect!

This place is so great! Relaxing and beautiful, with a huge private beach the kids can play on. Great cabins, just loads of fun to be had!

Had a super fun time with the family. The cabins, boats, and ground are well taken care of. Can't wait for our vacation next year.

This is a wonderful resort especially if you like fishing or swimming theirs a nice beach, a large lake and the owners are amazing people

Bob has been an excellent resort owner, we just love the resort and service. A great place to stay in Minnesota with pets!
