Great Lakes Aquarium House

I love this place! Only stopped in for some frogs and snails, and they had me there! There is plenty of great looking fish here. They know their stuff and do a good job with the tanks! They said they can even special order if I ever need 🙂 I will most definitely be back here. Very small hole in the wall, but it's definitely worth the stop in!

I'm so glad I stumbled on this place. It's an hour drive from me, so I happened in on my way home from a longer trip. I will definitely be making the drive back! Amazing selection, especially for the size of the store. Great prices, too!(cash only) Good variety of shrimp, fish, live plants, foods and decor. If you live in reasonable distance and keep aquariums this is a great little spot to stop in.

Love this place. Chuck is so good at telling how to take care of your fish. Keeps the supplies on hand. Plus all the cool fish.

I am so glad to see great lakes is still open, I have shopped here for many years in the past and have never been disappointed. Recently bought my 83 yr old mom a tank at a auction and got it set up today. I will be taking mom fish shopping very soon , and no other place would I go. Chuck has the best fish around he knows his stuff when it comes to everything about taking care of the tanks to cleaning them to the fish them self. Great prices and has everything you need all at one place. Best part is he is a great person I highly recommend Great Lakes Aquarium. Keep up the Great Work Chuck.

Chuck is the best around! I’ve been going to chucks store since I was around 8 (I’m 26). My mom never went to ANYONE else, when we got fish from chuck they SURVIVED for years.. yes years! I restarted a tank just over a year ago and my fish have thrived since the day I brought them home! Chuck is the nicest guy around and treats my family like his own! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else in the business. Chuck is just simply the best there is.

Very knowledgeable and friendly. He pulled up and he was walking in with his lunch; he had us come in and helped us instead of eating. Great selection of fish and food. Great prices and is willing to make a deal with you (prices aren’t set in stone). Fish food prices here beat any other pet store that I have seen. Support local business.

Chuck is by far the best at what he does, loves his job as much as he loves his fish. I’ve bought many of fish from him, and will continue to do so in the future. Has prices that can’t be matched, by far the best customer service in the market, and it’s hard to run in and out of the store bcuz he makes you feel like family.

AWESOME place!!! I have been coming here for 8 years. Chuck has the best fish around! The water is ALWAYS clean, and he always has stock. Plus, he's very knowledgable. Yes, it's not in the best of neighborhoods, but its NOT in the worst of neighborhoods either. His place is right off the main street, and the people are friendly.

Super friendly and very knowledgeable. Great prices on fish and fish food. Was a little bummed that they don't carry any saltwater fish but I will definitely be buying fish if I every go back into freshwater again.

Chuck owns & has run his local fish store for over a decade! He carries all kinds of varieties of my favorite Omega One foods including frozen! He has surprisingly great prices on both his fish & food, especially compared to the box stores. When he notices something might be wrong with the fish he's shipped he actually tries to treat them unlike chains that just write them off or sell them anyway. His fish are well fed & he breeds & raises his own albino bristlenose plecos!

9ne of the only mom and pop fish stores left in southwest Michigan. The owner is very nice and helpful. Best place to find filters and foods including frozen . He carries omega one which is all I like to use.the only place I have seen some of the plecos he carries on the regular. As well as some cool odball fish.

They are so knowledgeable and have great prices. We definitely recommend to all of our fish loving friends.

Chuck always has the best fish, healthy, best place to buy frozen fish food, he will also order fish for you. Great place, done business their for years, always great.

Love this place! Only place I can get the tropical fish I'm looking for. Price is awesome too! The owner is awesome as well.
