Bar S Veterinary Clinic

I recently took my two cats to Bar S, along with the Ace Hardware Cats. I must say that the staff at Bar S went above and beyond. Unfortunately, I had to have two of my cats cremated six months apart - one of them we had for 9 years, and the other we had for a month before she passed away from FIP. Bar S returned their ashes to us in a little wooden box, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch during such a difficult time.

However, I also had another cat cremated in Columbus, thinking that the vet there could provide better care for him. Sadly, they returned his ashes to me in a Ziploc bag, which made me feel like they did not care about my loss.

On a brighter note, I want to mention the Ace cats, who are a part of Ace Hardware. We wanted to take care of them, particularly Tilly, the black and white cat who was recently adopted and was not gaining weight. For about two months, the Vet techs and Vets at Bar S put up with me bringing stool samples and Tilly up to their clinic, trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Their dedication and persistence in finding a solution for Tilly was truly remarkable, and we are grateful for their help.

There is a reason this vet clinic has 5 stars across the board. The vets are absolutely phenomenal, and really care about your animals. Prices are extremely reasonable and you won't find better service anywhere.

We took our cat out for an emergency call and the staff was great. At the time we were not even clients but they still took us in after hours. We have now switched to Bar S with our animals.

Called for after hour emergency with a laboring goat. Dr. Schawang said no prob meet me at the clinic. Once there he was friendly and very quick at helping our goat that had a stuck baby get it delivered. He went above and beyond for an after hour call!

Bar S has always been very reasonable and always has treated our animals and ourselves with dignity. I recommend them 100%

they have a 911 service 7 days a week 24/7. They do labs on site so results are fast. They are affordable and do payments. Vets are amazing, kind, understanding and compassionate

Staff and Randy are amazing ! Always have had to best care for my dogs at Bar S . Have had 3 rescue dogs that have needed surgery , they do an amazing job !

We've had both of our dogs here and they've always received exceptional care. They even went out of their way to take our Great Dane at the last moment when we had to rush to Omaha for my daughter to be treated for Cancer. They've been wonderful.

Very satisfied, explained everything, and was so patient, and experience with trimming toe nails on one of my dogs who hates it and fights it, did a great job. My other dog got her teeth cleaned, they are so nice and white now and no bad breath.

EVERY experience at Bar S Veterinary Clinic is the best possible. Their compassion and expertise is great. Dr Randy Schwang has always been there when I needed him for c- sections, whether it's 2 in the afternoon or 2 in the morning. Although I do try to let him sleep until 5.😊 I very highly recommend him.

Doctor was very explanatory about what was going on with Marley. Went the extra mile and didn't make me feel guilty about coming in on a Sunday. Would definitely recommend!

Dr Schawang helped us out with our labradoodle Jewels, she had a long great life of 13 years and passed away peacefully with us and her fur friends there. Also Thank You for getting little Rascal started on vaccines.

Today, while having my son's kitten looked at, I watched the owner and head vet ask an attending vet for advice. That speaks volumes to the level of commitment here. Great community vets.

2 Great Vets with great prices. Over the last 2 years I've had 3 emergency 1 am weekend visits with my Great Danes and 12 puppies for shots and it hasn't cost me an arm and a tail.
