We stumbled upon this gem while out on a road trip in the Bethel / Woodstock area across from Kauneonga Lake. Sorella Restaurant is owned & operated by wife & husband team, Crissy & Gerry. There is a pizzeria, as well as, a formal dining room with linen table cloths & napkins which has a retro vibe & is also seasonally decorated for Halloween. A beautiful party room is available with a dance floor for your special events. When we were seated, we requested music by Frank Sinatra & were happily accommodated.

The red sauce is made from scratch. The eggplant parmigiana is made to order & was so flavorful & delicious; no breadcrumbs. The entrees are served with a super fresh side salad & a choice of pasta.

There is an extensive wine list & for those who may prefer their red wine chilled, red & white wines were available chilled or room temperature.

The desserts were very fresh & the cannoli shell was crispy & filled to order.

The only thing missing was the people. We were the only table in the dining room on a dreary Saturday afternoon. It's a great time of year to get out & enjoy the beautiful foliage, so make Sorella Restaurant part of your road trip!

P.S. We ordered the freshly made lasagna to go & heated it for dinner upon our return to Jersey. It was fabulous! Very lite filled with the perfect balance of ricotta, ground beef & sausage just like my mother-in-law used to make. If you are in the area, order it for Thanksgiving & save yourself the time &:effort. You will not be disappointed. I wish we lived closer ...

Absolutely love this pizza place! I come from NYC and still consider this pizza place, in a rural town 90 miles away from Manhattan, to serve some of the best NY style pizza ever. The owner got quite mad at me once for using the bathroom without having ordered anything, but that's to be expected from a restaurant lol

I love this place. Theresa and her staff are so kind and welcoming. The atmosphere is that of pure Americana, circa the 1950's. That means great music and plenty of eye candy. Looking for classic Italian cuisine? Looking to grab a quick chicken parmigiana hero on the go? Maybe you're looking to sit with friends and family while enjoying great music and a beer then give Sorella a try!

The food is delicious. Italian, lots of red sauce. Great casual, yummy meal. I'd recommend it for a good hearty lunch or a weekday dinner out.

Good delicious pizza love the atmosphere so 50s . Nice clean restaurant and friendly staff and most of all pizza is so delicious the sauce yummy . Keep up the good work !

We stopped by after visiting the Woodstock monument. The service was great. The food was absolutely delicious! They had a gentleman playing saxophone who struck up a fascinating conversation with us. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area

Grabbed dinner here before we headed home at the end of our vacation and it was the best food we had all trip. Had the Italian hero and it was amazing!! The meat was sliced right in front of us and the sandwich was huuuuge. Totally recommend ordering that if you haven’t already.

I love coming to Sorella. This restaurant has delicious Italian food and the best atmosphere, their pizza never misses. This is my go to take out place but I also love sitting down to eat here and enjoying all of the amazing decorations

A small town restaraunt, with a bit a wear and tear from time showing. Yet clearly cared for by the staff, and staffed by people proud of the business. The interior was set with a hint of elegance and as if a five star crowd was expected. The food was well prepared, and served promptly. There was a musician providing some simple music for atmosphere. You will want to talk to him.

Another great visit to Sorella! Thanks to Lucas and the rest of the staff for an excellent meal. Bake clams as the appetizer and then veal & eggplant parm dinners. Both meals were very good! Portions always leave enough for lunch the next day.

A nice little cozy italian eatery accross from the park, in the past the chicken parm and veal parm dinners truly impressed us with generous portions and a mice affordable price tag. Our favorite so far is the pizza though! A hickory smoked bacon pizza is our go to, call early if you are interested in sampling thier Sicilian!

I’m from Long Island and I was in the area and in the mood for some pizza so I decided to stop by to pick up a couple of pies for some friends and they all enjoyed it great mushroom pizza definitely recommend this place :)

Great little place on the way to Bethel Woods. Pizza and Restaurant that was busy on a Thursday evening! Quick bite before the show and we enjoyed it!

The family had a private dinner, going away party here at Sorella’s Restaurant, White Lake, NY., in their private dining area. The dining area set up for us looked awesome, fireplace was a nice warm touch too ! The staff were awesome, polite, friendly, helpful. We were all treated and served superbly! The food we chose was delicious . We all appreciate the excellent service we were provided. Thank you.

Pizza was delicious, price was budget friendly. I'm in the area during the summer, 6 or 7 times. Will definitely stop there again.
UPDATE: Beware the kitchen typically closes 30 minutes before the closing poste elsewhere. Will continue to visit as the pizza is the best in the area.

Went there for the first time. Awesome food

I love they're food, it's a nice clean and nostalgic place!! Placed in a local and convenient spot! This place is a lot of locals favorite to get a hot slice of pizza! You guys are doing great! Keep it up.
