Must stop everytime we visit since my childhood. Hands down the best chocolate you will find. So cute inside and always friendly fast service!

This is a cozy, welcoming, and lovely chocolate shop. The staff here are ALWAYS friendly and as sweet as the chocolates they are selling!
We tried chocolate from all over the state, chocolate that is made on-site, and which is delicious. However, comparing Marie's to the other shops in its "class," it is clear that Marie's has no real competition. This cute little shop on the edge of West Liberty is solidly a step above the rest. If you like "turtle" chocolates, you MUST try their Tur'kins. There is no one who does them better!!
As a gift, you can NEVER go wrong giving a box of Marie's candies.

I have been torn between rating this a four star or five star, as I received a box of your assorted chocolates as a gift. Which was very nice (5). A couple of the pieces I’m not sure I enjoyed - the caramels were quite hard, and there was a strange little single pecan dipped in chocolate (4). But you can see from the photo I am sharing, we ate them all (5). I definitely need to visit the store to see if you have chocolate covered pretzels and peanut butter meltaways. Then I will know my true rating.

I love this place! My wife is from West Liberty and I grew up in Kansas. Every time we come back to Ohio it is a requirement that I get to stop in and get a chunk of the BEST chocolate I've ever had.

Absolutely amazing candies. If you pass by this place then you are missing out. It’s not just a chocolate shop. They sell a wide variety of special occasion candies and trinkets. Love love love this little shop.

Good selection of chocolate candies. Buy by the pound or pre boxed. Samples available. The decor is really cool if you like antique train items. Staff really nice.

Placed my order via Facebook and drove from Dayton, Ohio to West Liberty, Ohio on State Rt. 68. Huge assortment of beautifully decorated Easter Candies. In addition to my order I made an additional purchase of a pound of assorted cream filled chocolates. My favorites are raspberry and also orange. They were busy but we were served very quickly. I shall return my next trip back which should be in 4 to 6 weeks. Delicious!

Amazing! If I could give them 10 stars I would! If you have not tried it before - you are missing out! Marie’s candy is just SO good. We had a memorial celebration for my father-in-law and ordered candy for attendees! Kathy took such amazing care of us - everything was just perfect! All the guests raved about the chocolates!
