My husband had been here a number of times before years ago and was excited to be back. We were greeted and seated quickly, and our wait staff was also prompt. I had the tamales but was undecided if I wanted Red or green sauce so they kindly offered me a little of each on the side. LOVED the green!! Nice little gift shop in the restaurant as well. It was a nice, family friendly atmosphere.

This place was great! I read some bad reviews, so I wanted to make sure to add our great experience. We were seated quickly, our drink orders taken, chips and salsa brought out quickly, and our waitress was quick to arrive as well. Our food came out in a very reasonable time. We were checked on numerous times. It was busy, but everyone seemed to be enjoying the atmosphere, as did we! This was a great stop on our trip!

What a great little stop along a long drive. We were just passing through and needed a quick bite! It was perfect. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was very friendly and fast. I would stop here again!

Food was very good. The service was great, and the seving sizes were very big portions for the price.

The menu was eclectic, so you can get pizza, nachos, burgers, sandwiches, and so much more. Something for everyone. I will definitely make this a stopping point point when passing through town.

Good food, a lot of choices. Atmosphere is authentic 60's style. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. Room temperature was perfect (not cold like most restaurants).

We came to Santa Rosa for a weekend outing over New Year's. The staff were so good to us! I ordered Chili Rellenos with Christmas (that is with both red and green chili) The Green chili was good. But, the red chili was amazing! The green chili is less hot and is flavorful. The red chili was absolutely AMAZING! It had a little more heat (still not melt your face off hot) but was closer to the heat I wanted. 9/10 for sure! The salsa was a little runny but had a good kick to it.

Very pleased with food and historical decorations. Fun stop. We were looking for a pizza place at the same address, which Joseph's had bought out 3 years earlier, so there was some confusion, including with the signage.

Stopped in here while spending the night in Santa Rosa, was warmly greeted, just ordered burgers but they came out quickly and were delicious! Tons of extra fries that we couldn’t finish! Route 66 atmosphere was great!

We chose this restaurant based on the large amount of cars in the parking lot. We are amazed at the lower review on here. Every dish that was carried past us looked fantastic with very generous portions. We had the mushroom Swiss burger plate and the smothered adovada buritto plate.
We got it really fast which was great. We loved it all. Janet, our server, was super, sweet, helpful and was a wonderful waitress. She worked so hard and truly cared about us being happy. We appreciated her sense of humor after being on the road all day. She has been there for 30 years so that speaks for itself. The restaurant has been in business for 60 years. That also speaks for itself. All the workers that helped us were just as wonderful. We really liked the Rt 66 theme. We will be passing thru again next year and plan to stop by again.

Had to wait about 20 minutes7, but extremely well worth it. The food was great. We started with bbq wings, they were perfectly crispy, cooked inside and dripping in bbq. My wife had the green chili cheese burger and I had the chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything was great, even the service, we had Stevan as our server he was on top of his game. Excellent food and service. Very worth the wait.

Just a really nice little diner. The waitress (Janet) was lovely and the food was tasty at a reasonable price. Nothing fancy, but a good meal.

Joseph's is always a MUST as we enter New Mexico. We look forward to stopping on every trip. Their chiles are always great, and it is always a relief to get some savory, old-fashioned New Mexican food again.
The green chile enchiladas and the rellenos are fabulous. The service is always friendly and helpful. My family would feel bereft if we didn't stop.
As New Mexicans transplanted in Alabama, I can appreciate true New Mexican food. The only way to eat it in Alabama is to cook it myself. Joseph's is a great way to celebrate coming home.

Visiting with relatives here in Santa Rosa decided to try this restaurant. Had good service was responsive and quick. I ordered the chili relleno with red and green chili. This came with rice and beans and was good. My wife had chicken fajitas which she said was good except the flour tortillas where a little tuff. This restaurant serves liquor also so I had a beer she had a drink called the blue hole. She said it was good. Restaurant has a bar and gift shop. Prices are $$. Drinks where pricey. They also have a gift shop. The ice tea was good too.

We had food delivered from Joseph’s several times while in the area. It was always fast, tasty, and reasonably priced. Recommend

The pizza, and the service are what fetch the 5 stars.
The straws are too short for the cups.
The salsa tastes like pace picante.
On the store side, they could utilize the floor space with more merchandise, and get rid of the American flags that are made in china. Such a disgrace.

Checked into hotel late 8pm. Call for delivery at 8:30pm I was told they weren't doing delivery. I told them I just checked into hotel, and asked if they could refer someone else to deliver pizza. One of the workers volunteered to drop it by as they were getting off work. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! You guys are the best! My pizza was hot tasty and delicious.

I went here during an unexpected snowstorm while traveling during COVID, so it was take-out only. The hostess was patient as I looked at the menu, gave helpful suggestions, and the take-out box arrived quickly. I got the Stuffed Sopapillas, one red and one green (chili). Both were fantastic! So tasty... wish I could stay in Santa Rosa for a week and order everything on the menu.

Just the kind of place to stop if you don't know what you're hungry for. A lot going on in there to see, with tribute to the region and route 66. Oh, I forgot to mention, super staff, good food and plenty of it for the $.
