La Mesa Motel

Best little motel I’ve ever stayed in. The place is exactly what the sign says - clean, comfortable, and reasonable. We stayed in a queen room and had plenty of room for the two of us to relax in after a long day on the road without feeling cramped. By far the best hospitality I’ve experienced at a roadside motel. Shout out to Jim and his puppy Milo!

You know that saying ...... you can't judge a book by its cover?
Well, that's this hotel. The owner was very nice, the rooms were not only roomy but very clean and its pet friendly!!!
I would recommend this motel, and we're definitely going to be staying there again!!

This was an amazing find! Very nostalgic and exactly what we were looking traveling Route 66. NEON LIGHTS!
Room was VERY clean, spacious and the bed was so comfortable I got the best night sleep in a week!
Price was reasonable and we were walked to our room which is a nice touch, like hospitality used to be!
We would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

I was very happy with our stay at this hotel! The gentleman at the front desk was great and polite. We were about an hour away and found this hotel o. Our GPS and it showef great reviews. I called and asked the clerk to hold a room for us and he did with jist my name and number and my word that we were on the way. The room was clean, nice and comfortable! I highly recommend and we will stay here again!

The sign says ‘Clean, Comfortable, Reasonable’ and that totally sums it up! A comfortable and more importantly clean roadside motel for our night driving through Santa Rosa.

The gentleman at the front desk called us to ensure we would make it safely, as we were rolling in so much later than expected. After check in, he made sure we were set and even gave shop recommendations to help fix our travel issues. Very understanding and very sweet!! The rooms are so asthetic and cute! The beds were so comfortable! Clean and exactly what you're hoping for! Truly above and beyond service from staff! Felt like I was coming home but this is only a stop on the trip.

Was looking for a place to park - our SUV and UTV trail. This Motel was a Great Surprise - Friendly, Clean, Hepful, and Great Rates. We will be returning to this little Gem.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and kind. The room was clean, had a mini fridge and microwave. The lady at the desk walked me to my room and brought me a pitcher of ice, making it very personable. For being off the highway, it was still fairly quiet. The bed was firm, but comfortable, and I slept really well. I'm pleased with every aspect of my stay here at La Mesa. I'll definitely be recommending them to family and friends, and staying here next time I come through.

Outside is retro “Route 66” while inside room is clean and looks like it was recently remodeled. Everything works including the Keurig coffee maker.

This motel is so nice and clean and affordable, the staff are great! Such sweet people, brought ice to our room just to be nice. So laid back and you can tell they are all about customer service. We came in from a 12 hour drive and it was right off the freeway, well lit, and super clean. Overall great value, the Route 66 feel you’re most certainly looking for!

Great stay nice clean rooms. Will stay again. Bonus - dog friendly!

Finally, back at my hometown. We had the best time with our friends and family. This hotel is still thriving. On Route 66. All Neon at night and comfy cozy rooms. The rooms were clean and very well kept. The beds were comfortable. The owners are so accommodating and friendly . So is the staff that work around the hotel to keep this hotel in tip top position. If you want to stay at a motel that is nostalgic route 66, this is the motel to go to.

Once again staying at my favorite hide away in Santa Rosa 😊 Mike has a great little gem here. I can always count on a clean room, comfy bed, quiet area at a reasonable price. It is my go-to on my way from MI to NV. Prefer staying here instead of trying to find a decent place in Albuquerque. Thanks Mike!

This was a nice motel. The heater worked really well! (The first night we were there the low was 7°!) The room had all the amenities we could need. The bed was comfortable but there was only 2 pillows. (We always travel with our pillows though!) The guy that checked us into the hotel was very nice and also very helpful.
We stayed again, and the a/c worked perfectly! Super nice staff and clean room. Totally suggest!

What a wonderful place very accomadating if your a traveling wind tech or traveling crane crew this place is a must clean and veery affordable.The staff is very helpful thank you guys so much.

The owner Jim is the man! GREAT price and rooms were very clean. Jim recommended a good place to eat near by and he didn’t miss. Love the vintage neon sign at night and overall vibe of the motel, definitely a Route 66 classic!

We had traveled for 12 hours and stopped in here due to the high ratings over a chain hotel. We were NOT disappointed at all. Jim showed the room to us before we even paid~WOW, what service! The room was clean and well maintained. Parking lot maintained. Beds were better than some we've had in name brand chain hotels. Bedding, bath towels and wash clothes were very white, clean smelling and crisp like fresh of the clothesline. Takes me back to a simpler time~which is very cool~since you ARE ON Route 66. Thanks Jim and staff, we will stay with y'all next time we are through.

Wonderful, quaint little hotel! Very retro feel, as you actually use a real key for the door, which also has a deadbolt lock. Nice room, very comfortable bed, along with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The manager was super nice and showed us the room before we checked in, and the brought us a pitcher of ice. We will definitely stay there again next time we pass that way!

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, AFFORDABLE! You seriously can't go wrong staying here. We had a queen room. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, table. Everything was super clean, bed was comfortable and I heard nothing all night. Great for pet lovers too. Guy at the front desk is super nice. I loved the retro look and old school key to our room.
