We were just here overnight but from what we saw, this is a very clean and well maintained camp area. The spots are marked, easy to get in and out of and have a picnic table. Some have covered areas and bbq's.
There is a small playground for the kids and clean restrooms with a shower. AND... the restrooms are heated!! What a wonderful surprise on a 17⁰ morning.
All in all, from what limited bits we saw and used, it is a great place to stop for the night or for a week. No issues whatsoever. Felt very safe here.

Great campsite! RV and primitive camping available for $10 a night. Nice, clean, heated bathrooms and showers, fire pit at each camping site, and a beautiful view and trail to the lake! Wonderful experience!

The RV park was very well priced and really nice for a state park! It wasn't anything fancy, but the bathroom was clean and had two showers. The RV spot was pretty level and had a covered picnic table behind it.

This campground is very clean, the camp host is very nice. The cleanest bathrooms of any place I've stayed. You're gonna love it here!

Very clean! Great for tent campers and even/trailer, even the non-electric sites. There is potable water, flush toilets, and showers. I reserved online, and was met by the ranger when I showed up to my site for check-in. We had a nice lake and valley view, sunset, stargazing, and sunrise was great!

Beautiful campground, great trails to the lake. Spot A12 was level and had electric. No water but no problem as we filled our fresh water tank upon entry. Very quiet and great covered pavilion for relaxing or grilling. I would stay here again.

Stayed in Loop A, site 7, which is a pull-thru space and has electric. There is a hydrant/spigot at the road. The spot is fairly level, requiring a board under one wheel. Electric was steady @ 121v with adequate amperage to run a small heater. The pedestal had 15A and 30A receptacles.
We did speed tests with our phones.
Verizon was 32mbps down, 1.10mbps up, and I was able to surf the internet
AT&T was 67mbps down, 1.67mbps up, and we could watch videos.
The bathrooms were clean, heated and included free showers with warm water. The last time we stayed, the bathrooms were not very clean, and the flush water at the RV dump was not functioning. We did not attempt to use it this trip.
Make reservations online-$14 plus $4 reservations fee at Reserve America.

This is a very nice park - our 2nd time camping here. We had a beautiful site with water and electric. The dumpstation doesn't have adequate water pressure to do a good job at rinsing tanks. A good stop for travelling cross country. A bit of a trip from Santa Rosa. Not many stores or restaurants in Santa Rosa, so come prepared!

Wonderful camp sites! Easy pull-thrus for beginners like me. 30 and 50 amp hook-ups, clean bathrooms, 10 min. Off I-40, and easy access dump site. Some sites don't have water hook-up, so b sure to look before u set up. Amazing views!

Great place to camp not too far from Albuquerque, 2 hour straight shot east on 40. Getting to the actual state park driving through Santa Rosa can be a little tricky so be sure to pay attention to the signs or use navigation. The park is nestled up against the lake and in order to get to the site you have to drive over the dam. The views are beautiful and the campground includes a restroom, showers, and a little park for the kids. Fires are only allowed in the grill box at each site, no fish guts in the local trash cans. The volunteer staff and park rangers are very friendly. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing time! Found a snake bidding in the concrete structure we had reserved! Luckily it wasn't a Rattler! We were also caught in a hail storm. A series of unfortunate events, was very much enjoyed by this happy camper!
