Really nice airport in a nice area with really nice staff. They heard my CTAF position report and asked me if I needed anything. Even though that's how a UNICOM should be, it seems like a lot of small airports don't do that anymore and you have to hunt the staff down just to get some gas. They had a 2 hour courtesy car, beyond that they'll give you the contact info for the rental car place and they'll meet you at the plane.

Could't be happier with this GA's location, faciltities, and features. Located 15 miles NE of Ruidoso. on ~1700 acres. Elevation is 6813 feet MSL. AWOS-3: 126.475 CTAF: 122.8. UNICOM: 122.8.

The airport is staffed by members of the Ruidoso Fire Department, and they are the most friendly FBO I've ever visited.
