Great place, Greek chicken was good but the hot chicken was better. Try thegolmakulisgalaxy dessert, it is awesome. And Hope is a great waitress.

My first impression of this place was great! The decor and aura of this place fits its name perfectly, 'Mount Athos' (Greek). The staff was absolutely great, kind to the older customers, and silly with the younger! And to top it off, the food was OUTSTANDING! Much recommended if you're in the area, or looking to try something new out of your normal!

By far one of the greatest restaurants I've ever been to. Pictured, the spinach salad, is one of the best salads I've ever personally had. The staff are wonderful. They made sure to check on us regularly and that we were never without drinks or anything else we wanted.
The restaurant itself is very clean, and the atmosphere itself is amazing. It felt like I was part of the family, with the owner himself even checking on us at times.
Admittedly, I may be biased because this was also where my fiancée proposed to me, but I genuinely do think this restaurant is worth visiting and trying.

I have traveled the US for the last 10 or so years, and this is by far the best Greek food I've ever had the pleasure of eating. I got the Chicken Soulvaki and everything was extremely fresh, incredibly delicious, and cooked to perfection. Quite easily the best chicken I've ever had in my life. The staff were great too! 10/10 will eat here again every time I'm in the area. I am looking forward to visiting this place again before I leave AZ!

Another great find!! I was invited to this place for lunch by a friend. It was not necessarily a place I might have stopped on my own! Wow! Their gyros are so delicious! The spice with the spicy chicken gyro was delicious and spicy!! The tzatziki sauce tops off the eating experience!! First time for me, won't be the last. Service staff are all so friendly. Sara, our server, was patient with us as we asked questions about specific menu items. You won't regret having a meal here!!

One of THE BEST Burgers I've had! Tried the Southwestern Burger, $16, giant sized. I could only eat half, def shareable! Onion rings were On Point! Service with a smile, too! I definitely will be back!

Service was excellent and the Gyro was delicious. Prices are reasonable. The manager was extremely gracious, donating gift cards for our pickleball club's charity raffle for St. Judes. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food is very good I was pleasantly surprised and it explains why it's always busy. Service is attentive and pleasant. All 3 times I've been there I have seen the same servers. It is that old school mom and pop vibe I dig. If I lived closer and was a regular I'm sure they would know what I wanted before I did. I appreciate that type of place. Parking is tight but it's worth the effort. I will be back!!

What a charming and delightful place. First time there and will definitely go back again. Food was excellent and ALL the staff were wonderful. I went with my 2 year old grandson who's for me a delight but was not completely on his best behavior. Everyone had time to spend with the little guy.

Truly one of the best restaurants that we have been to in a long time. We stopped by on our way home. That was the first time there. We will definitely go there again even though it is 30 miles away. I am looking forward to trying another plate. The service was also excellent! Mt. Athos is an excellent restaurant. You will not be disappointed! 👍

I ordered a hamburger called My Mama (? I'm not sure). It also contained a piece of fried chicken covered with what tasted like Tapatio. 🤔 My wife ordered a gyro platter for her first taste of the meat. Both as delicious as the service was delightful. I would give a 5 to for atmosphere, but the food and the service will bring me back.

The staff seemed very happy and close and glad to be working there. They also provided outstanding customer service and really connected with diners. My girlfriend and I got the gyros there and they were charming and very fresh!

Great experience! Server, Samantha ? treated each person in our group of 20 motorcycle riders from Christian Motorcyclists Association as if we were fine dining! Very impressive service, loved the gyro and fries, iced tea was fresh and delicious 😋. Will go back! Thank you!

Family of 4 evening driving in from Coolidge lookin for some Greek. We arrived on a wed at about 5:30pm (the week going into New years weekend) and there was only 1 table seated so there was plenty of space in house.

This place is Greek’D out from the greeting of the hostess, server, owner, and lightly played music in the background. Beautiful restaurant, quaint, and It was Greekin awesome for a family night. There is a bar there too that we may check out in the future.

Excellent service, atmosphere, and delicious food. I ate the daily special: pork chops $20.79 (nice and tender meat, side salad-house dressing was good, note: menu has a different special everyday) with carrots that had a nice sweet savory taste and some hot steak fries seasoned to perfection, not too salty. Nicoletta (apologies if misspelled), our server, was pristine in checking up on us! even though she didn’t know the sauce that the cooks made with the Pork chop, I asked her to please get me a side of it and she put a rush on it!

My folks had the gyro platter (love the rice!) and the spicy gyro w/onion rings (picture) and they all loved it—especially with that Tzatziki sauce. Pita was served nice and hot.

Dessert: server provided options from memory since there was no menu for it and we took her favorite/recommendation which has a very “greek name” as Nicoletta put it and it tasted delicious (pictured) doughy pastry that was delicate, warm, and not too sweet with some cream. I could’ve eaten a whole one by myself but we ordered two plates and server cut it up for us 4 ways to share. It was DIVINE!

They wished us a happy new year on the way out and YES! Thank you-we will definitely be back in ‘23!

This is some of the best Greek food I have ever had (and I have visited Greece twice, AND, I grew up in a Greek immigrant neighborhood). My wife and I had a Gyro platter each. They brought out a Greek salad to start. We thought it was a bit strange as it's usually served on the platter. No problem, though, as it was good and the feta cheese on it was very fresh. Then we received our platter. No wonder we got the salad first. There was no room for it! The plate was filled with thick and moist gyro meat, thick and soft pita bread, rice, and carrots seasoned with cinnamon. I have never had carrots served that way, but boy were they tasty. The cinnamon brings out their sweetness.

We were stuffed with the gyro platter, but we had to sample their baklava, so we split a piece. It was still a good portion each, and very moist.
We saw another couple eating gyro sandwiches and they looked packed with meat.

We highly recommend this restaurant. If we are ever back in Florence we will definitely return. The portions and quality of food are definitely worth the prices.

The service was great and the interior was very nice. A very family friendly atmosphere.

Really juicy handmade burgers made fresh daily. You can taste the fresh beef. Gyros are huge, juicy chunks of meat on a fresh, soft pita.

Over all our meal was good. The OPA dish was undercooked and waitress was kind enough to remake it. The flavor/texture of their cheese was different from traditional cheese I’ve had in other places.
