A very nice man helped me look the things I was interested in, showed me other options and for one item recommended to another store. Great service. His knowledge of items made in Wyoming and America was helpful.

I've made a few online orders from Wind River over the years and entrusted them with a high-end fly rod purchase and was impressed. It was well packed, got to me in a very reasonable amount of time, and the free shipping was an added bonus. I was able to get the rod out and test it shortly after receiving it and it exceeded my expectations. Both the product and fulfillment hit the marks for me. I will be back for future fly fishing purchases.

Stopped in with my girlfriend on a recent trip to Lander. Was hoping they'd have some guide books on fly fishing the Lander area. Gent showed me a map that was pretty helpful. Wandered around a bit as I usually do....gents behind the gun counter were awesome. Enjoyed some nice conversation and they were very attentive, even though they knew we weren't buying any firearms (we flew in this trip). The young lady behind the counter was great, very friendly and helpful. We ended up buying a few things, caught a very nice item on sale, and needed another item shipped. Young lady sent me a text the next morning with tracking info! I'm consistently impressed with this store. They don't have a whoooole lot of stuff but everything they have is quality, and is matched for the local area. Definitely worth stopping in.

I had the absolute pleasure of working with one of your customer support reps, Kyle, this morning who has gone above and beyond any type of support I have ever experienced. He initially contacted me out of concern that the saddle I ordered the night before was missing (mind you my order was already fulfilled & sent unbeknownst to us at that moment). In the meantime until we figured that out- he provided me with the most extensive and amazing selection of products that I have been dreaming of having access to. Truly going above and beyond, as this was all in an effort to find a replacement for the one he had trouble tracking down originally. Long story…longish, Living in Southern California, the flyfishing community here is quite small and I rarely get to source my feathers directly, let alone from such an incredible selection. By the time we realized that my product had already shipped… I had long forgotten about what it even was As I had spent the last 45 minutes in a feather dreamland. Kidding aside, as much as I’m looking forward to receiving my original purchase, I am also anxiously looking forward to purchasing my next and there on all future rooster saddles from Wind River. For a small town in the middle of Wyoming, WROC has a really nice selection of products, ranging from archery and guns to shoes and clothing. I have also found them to be competitive on price with the internet. Always a good experience, also, with their friendly, knowledgeable staff. Shop locally and check out this business!

My Boondocker 6 tent arrived on time and in good condition. This tent is discontinued by the manufacturer, so I was glad to find it here. My husband helped me set it up in our living room (just for a test) and I'm excited to use it next summer! Thank you to the Wind River Outdoor team for excellent customer service.

Was in town on the first day of an elk hunt and had trouble with a vortex spotting scope. The staff was super helpful and contacted vortex, got me a replacement immediately while vortex sent them a new one. Couldn’t be happier. Also, store was impressive with a great selection of hunting/fishing/hiking gear at reasonable prices.

The folks at Wind River Outdoors are superb to work with! I purchased a new fly rod from them and they went above and beyond to make sure I ended up with the model I was after, including working with the factory to get a hard to find model delivered directly to my house. 100% will shop with them again.
