Sunny Mountain Store

I loved the experience I had at this gas station. The gas price was cheaper than others in the area. I was a little skeptical because of the brand of gas but I was travelling so it didn't matter too much and I was low on fuel. My experience as a customer here was awesome. The service was great. There is no pay at the pump which forces you to go inside. I was glad I did. The lady at the counter was so nice and pleasant to interact with. That is a bonus in today's day and time.

This place has had the cheapest regular gasoline in the area. Good prices on food and snacks. The ladies are very nice and helpful.

Shout out to Ruby and all the Great Folks at this location. Food court during normal business hourscoming soon

I hit something in the middle of the road and got a flat tire. I say there for 2 hours and looked at the store wishing they were open. Tow truck came and picked me up and we're got coffee somewhere else wishing I got to use the best cappuccino machine in the county.

Easy access to gas when other stations in this area were out, price did not jump up. Store associates are always helpful and pleasant . Best cappuccino machine in county.

My favorite store of all. Brand new owners plus the beautiful lady who use to run the store works there also. Built in 1937 and is still going strong. Great food you can sit down and eat

A great little gas station/convenient store.

so as far as gas stations go this is pretty run of the mill, Beverages, snacks, gas, they even have Krunchy Krispy chicken products here. but what sets thia store apart from all the others is that there is a small (enphasis on small, 5'10" celling in some areas) mexican restaraunt. More acturatly labled as a public Hispanic grandmothers kitchen. if you are looking for fast service you will not find it here (average serve time 35-45 min). call ahead for take out or dine in (only 3 tables and 11 chairs) and avoid some of the wait. the reason I give this 5 stars and if I could give 20 I would is because the lady that does all of the cooking and order taking was so nice and explained exactly what the options were. As a chef who has been in the industry for 10 years and cooked multiple cuisines with people from almost every continent and major culture i must say this is the most authentic mexican cusine i have ever had with out going to mexico. Everything was hand made from the salsa verde to the lyngua empanadas to the pico and guac and chicken tinga quesadillas with hand pressed and fried to order soft or crispy tortillas. thia place is amazing.

Always an awesome experience. Sandy, Ruby, and Sandy's wife are wonderful people. They will go above and beyond to get you what you need!!

In my opinion, Christina's Mexican Food in Sunny Mountain Store on Route 29 Lovingston beats out all other Mexican restaurants from Charlottesville to Lynchburg. Authentic fare Made by Christina herself who is from Mexica. Be prepared for the ambiance of an old Nelson County store- nothing fancy here!

Sunny Mtn has really good food. Homemade for decent prices. Will be open for breakfast soon. Come on in and try for yourself!

I stop here whenever I'm in the area. Good selection, great prices, and the staff are generally awesome!

Stopped for gas . We had to use the restroom. It was clean I got some chips. It was good

Christina's Cafe in the back of the store serves incredible and authentic Latin food and is very affordably priced.
