The most amazing sunset I’ve ever seen at this park. The mosquitoes were horrible though. But these photos were worth the aggravation.

Place was hit hard by hurricane IRMA along with all the other Keys. Key West didn’t take a hard hit like you would have expected. But if you can imagine standing in your living room and the water level being above your ceilings this was what those people endured. They will be years recovering from the disaster that has taken entire communities bulldozed away.here are just a few pictures from there to see for yourself.

Despite some other posts, I have enjoyed sunbathing on this beach for years!
My dog has accompanied me in all my travels and has thoroughly enjoyed swimming this beach!

This is a great little waterfront park, there's a nice dock that goes pretty far out. It would be great for launching kayaks, or paddle boards.
