Landmark Restaurant--

We took a day trip to the Osceola Cheese Factory. We were hungry and saw that Lowry(Mo) had a restaurant, so we decided to check out The Landmark for some lunch. The place was packed! It was a good choice for us - the food was delicious & filling. The staff was so friendly & attentive. We look forward to stopping in again soon!

Great fried chicken great waitress. I was upset though I ordered chocolate cream pie and coconut cream I got meraign I had some unhappy campers for Thanksgiving! When I ordered they told me 10.00 each got there they were 12.00 the money did not bother me I just wish I would have got what I ordered. The food is always good. I will be going back.

Excellent food and service. A hidden gem off of HWY 13. Worth the stop as its only half a mile from HWY 13. Open until 2pm. Breakfast until 11:30am. I went a couple of times over the weekend so more pics.

Super busy Sunday lunch but service was fast & great. We love to stop there for pan fried chicken (like mom used to make). Be sure to order dessert when you order your lunch or they might sell out!

Usually, I go there after church. They are usually extremely busy, but do a great job of getting customers seated quickly. Excellent food and service highly recommend this restaurant !

i just a basic burger and fry...
i mean if you can't make one of those then you already have problems...
will be back, it has a great small town feeling. and the town has a lot of rich history, should look into it...
someone did have a open face roast beef that looked and smelled amazing even as far away as i was...

If exceptional down-home food light on the pocketbook intrigues you, the Landmark restaurant in Lowry City it the place. The bountiful plate lunches change each day and the portions are enormous. The meat loaf, one of several choices on Tuesday, was juicy, perfectly cooked and slathered in brown gravy. It comes with three vegetables and a real home-made roll or cornbread. If the flavor is not to your liking, each table has a container of Cavender's Greek Seasoning so you can add some Zing. The hamburgers are great too, but the guys bit into their's too quickly. The deserts look amazing, but I am always too full to try one of their merangue beauties. Don't be put off by the looks outside, if you're hungry and want a delicious breakfast or lunch, stop at the Landmark.

One of the best diners I've ever been too! I wish it would be closer to where I live.

It's a little country diner. Great food, fantastic pie. Wait staff is hardworking and efficient. The fried chicken is amazing, but got a country fried steak and it was so good! Perfectly cooked food and generous portions make this a favorite Sunday lunch!

Love this diner, friendly people, awesome cook and even better prices! Me and the bf usually eat for 12$ total. And portions are right! I'm a regular here now because it's all around great!

I took my 93 year old mother and her sister. They grew up in Lowry. Mom used to go to the Landmark restaurant during lunch to wait table's. This was in the 40's. The girl let her go back and look at the old kitchen. Made us feel very welcomed. Ran into some Snyder's there. Her name was Bertha Glee Snyder. She was about 16 then. I loved seeing where she worked. And the food was delicious 😋 Thank you for the experience. ❤

Best fried chicken around! Friendly, small town service in a quaint building. Local favorite. Just be early if you want to enjoy the fried chicken as they run out sometimes into the afternoon.

This is the best place to eat, we always stop on our way through. The food is really good home cooked food and the staff are very friendly and efficient. This last time I had their coconut meringue pie and I must say, it is the best I have had anywhere, hands down! It had a very distinctive flavor and I would love to get the recipe. Wish I would have bought the whole pie!

We went to Lowry City to pick up firewood. On our way home we happened in the restaurant for lunch .
We were told by several
customers "the fried chicken is delicious".

Real not instant, we were also told. Delicious meal, and the people there were all so Friendly. We will definitely go back when we're down that way again.

Amazing salad! Anything I've ever ordered here has been excellent. The atmosphere is great in the sense it's a definite home town type a vibe... even if it's not your home town everyone will welcome you as if it was. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful!! And the pricing was completely fair.
