Mary Ann King, DO

Dr. King and her staff are wonderful. Just finished a wellness visit for my 16 year old daughter. Each person at Dr King’s office treated her like she was extra special and explained everything about her appointment to both of us so well.
Our family is blessed to have Dr King and her staff caring for our children for over twenty years now, and we can’t speak highly enough of her and her staff. If you are looking for a great pediatrician give her a call.

We absolutely LOVE Dr. King! My children and I moved from Memphis away from our pediatrician at LeBonheur. Having special needs children who both have ADHD and one with severe asthma, it was a concern of mine to find the right physician. When we met her, we immediately loved her bedside manner, the way she interacted with the kids, and her overall ability to perform her job and care for her patients. We love Dr. King and her staff! She has a wonderful rapport with our family and children, and she never rushes the appointment, but ensures that all of our questions and concerns are addressed and resolved.

From the moment she entered the room with my son and I, her presence was kind and compassionate. Her attitude and bedside manner were impeccable. She took the time to sit and listen to the issues we have had and things that are ongoing, currently. She fully addressed all of my concerns, and made me feel comfortable that he was getting the best care possible. My family and I just moved back home from Texas, and my son has multiple complex health issues. Aside from my family recommending her, I've had multiple others tell me how wonderful she is. I have 100% faith in her care for him and his health problems. My family is so thankful and fortunate to have her as our son's doctor. She far exceeded all of my expectations.

Dr. King is the best!! I live in Columbus and drive to Amory just to see her. Dr. King was on rotation 7 years ago at Gilmore Hospital and my newborn daughter failed her hearing test. She came back the next morning on her off day to re-test her! I’m back now with my little boy and appreciate her time and patience so much!

I started taking my children to doctor Mary Ann King in 2018 after the birth of my second child. I had been taken to my oldest child to another doctor that was a lot closer to our home, but just wasn’t satisfied with the care my child was supposed to be getting. After some research and finding out about Dr. King I decided to transfer my oldest to Dr. King and to carry my newborn to her as well. I have been so pleased with the care Dr. King gives my children. She and her staff are so patient and caring! If there has ever been any concern that I may have Dr. King is right on top of it and making sure I have peace of mind before I walk out of her office. I drive an hour one way just to take my kids to see her and it’s worth the drive every time knowing that my kids are in good hands with her!

My daughter has been seeing Dr. King since she was a tiny baby. She is 13 now and we still love going to Preferred Pediatrics. Everyone is so nice and caring. We always have a wonderful experience. Dr. King takes the time to listen and talk to you! We love it!

Dr. King is hands down, by far, the absolute best pediatrician! She is not only very knowledgeable with a lot of experience, but she takes the time to make a child feel comfortable and tries to bond with them! By her going that extra mile in every aspect is why she is all around the best!

Dr. King is search a great doctor . I love her dearly she has kids the same age of my kids . She search a awesome person she understand all kids problems and if she can’t fix them it make them better she will recommend someone that is able to help you . I really enjoy that she is my kids doctor we have been going to her since my daughter was 4 weeks old , there isn’t no one better than her .....

Mary Ann King, is PERFECT with babies and kids. I fully believe 100% that it is her calling!! She ALWAYS listens to your concerns and puts your feelings/motherly instincts in mind. She will do whatever she can to figure out what is wrong with your baby. I am 21 years old and have seen her since I was small. I have used her as my doctor since I found out I was pregnant. She is actually the one that confirmed I was pregnant. I still use the OB side where she works now. And even though I'm to old to use her as my doctor any more :( , I use her for my daughter. I recommend her to everyone. She is hands down THE best. I drive 45 to see her and never once complain because I know it is WELL worth it. I refuse to use anyone other than her for my daughter.

My son loves doctor King and no matter what she does whatever she needs to do to make sure her babies are all taken care of. Also she does whatever she needs to to find out what is wrong with your child. We love Dr king.
