Southern Star Inn Murfreesboro

Owner had a room for us on short notice and was friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was recently tiled and the floors were new and immaculate. It was quiet and quaint. The motel had ample parking and looked recently painted. Great place for travelers!

Everything was perfect from the time we stepped in at front desk to room. This hotel is not out to just to take your money. The front desk attendant will show you the rooms before renting them. Well the guy that attendant to are stay did. He was very polite and patience. Very good people person had excellent convo. Nice clean rooms. Very quiet not a run down hotel at all. This hotel is doing a excellent job. We stayed in 206 and room was perfect. Nothing bad I can say about this motel at all. The only thing I can think of is that I would ask for a room with a tub next time. Oh yea its a McDonalds up the street and grill restaurant and a Italian Pizza place on the street. I was very upset that Italian place was closed due to Covid19. Oh yea China Garden on the street food nasty. I don't care what you get from there it nasty. Not a real Chinese restaurant or Chinese people's not cooking it.

It was great! My husband and I were there for the Labor Day weekend.

Clean comfortable and accommodating rooms.

Hospitality was great. Owner, Mr Bell and housekeeping.... job well done!

Will be back next August!

My GF and I stayed at this hotel a couple days ago.

The gentleman at the front desk gave us a MILITARY DISCOUNT because my GF, and I are HONORABLY DISCHARGED NAVY VETERANS.⚓🇺🇸

The room was newly renovated, VERY CLEAN, and the bed was VERY COMFORTABLE!👍

Yes there were a couple of small things that can be improved, but OVERALL our stay was on par with HOTELS costing TWICE as much.

I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel in the future.

Its CLEAN, with a OLD SCHOOL, MOM, AND POP feel that BIGGER HOTELS can't recreate.

So I give them 5 STARS!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is completely different from what I remember in 2007. My room was clean and it had WiFi. There was also a refrigerator and microwave conveniently stored in a cabinet. The new owner says he also has hotels in Virginia Beach, so I guess he knows his stuff.

Very clean and convenient. The Manager and staff are courteous and welcoming. Best motel I had been to so far.

Newly renovated I love the stay they need some wifi and a microwave besides that I loved the stay all the way from NEW JERSEY THANKS (NC)

The Inn was clean and well kept!! The staff was very nice & courteous! ! My only complaint were that there were some people there who would hang their clothes & unmentionables on the railings which was very nasty
