This family-run Mexican street food restaurant is a must experience. Authentic flavors and everything is freshly made to order.

The chilaquiles with red sauce were the best ever.
Also tried the quesadillas and spicy shrimp.

Can’t wait to return and yes, it’s in a not that pretty location, but beautiful and very clean on the inside, including the restrooms.

Friendly place that smelled delicious as soon as I walked in! Ordered chicken fajitas that were excellent and asada sopes that were so good! Yum! For great authentic food, you gotta come here!

I have quickly become a big fan of this restaurant. We recently did a family vacation to Asheboro to visit the zoo and otherwise relax. One day, I randomly looked up tacos nearby to where we were, and Senor Mason showed up in the search. We had a little difficulty finding it at first, but when we finally did, we ordered a couple of tacos each (hard shell for me and flour for my husband). Boy, they did not disappoint. Let me pause here to state that I’m not a fan of tacos. I’ll eat them, but I rarely choose them. So, I wasn’t expecting much when we ordered from here. Senor Mason has made me a taco lover. In fact, we were only in Asheboro for 3 days and visited this establishment twice. Just yesterday we were traveling back to Raleigh after visiting my family in the western part of the state. A lightbulb went off in my head reminding me that we would pass Asheboro on our way home. I was so excited to stop and get tacos again, as was my husband. They were just as good as we remembered, although only a week had passed since our family vacation. I don’t care. I am looking forward to figuring out other ways to keep these tacos in the rotation. In fact, I challenge other Mexican restaurants to make tacos as good as these. Seriously, I need more delicious tacos in my life.

My boyfriend and I ate here yesterday for the first time. I’ve been wanting authentic Mexican food since I moved from California. This place did not disappoint. We both got the Quesobirria’s and the Asada fries. I’ve never had food that tasted this good. We will definitely be back. The staff was also super nice!

Fun environment, lots of items on the menu, and very friendly staff. Chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Green and red sauce were so good. Carne Asada Fries are a must try!

Cozy atmosphere. Food is authentic and incredibly delicious. I had the chicken enchiladas and my girlfriend had the California burrito. The salsa is made in house. My only regret is that I couldn't take a bottle home with me. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We came here for the first time tonight are were blown away. The food was amazing, I've not had a better taco. The service was great and good came out very quickly. And to top it off it was extremely affordable! We will definitely be back!

I will say this is absolutely my favorite taco place in and around Asheboro! The food is delicious and priced really well. The staff is always friendly. Give this local small business your money and you won't be disappointed.

Hands down the best authentic California burrito I've ever had. So good that I went back the next day to try more of their food. I've been three times in a short period of time. It's that good. A true gem in Asheboro.

My food took 41 minutes to get. One taco. One burrito. There was only 1 family who ordered before me.

But omg. The food was so so good. I'm still annoyed at the 40 minutes wait and hope that never happens again. But the food was so amazing I'm willing to give this place another shot.

We stumbled upon Senor Mason's after visiting the zoo and everything was delicious! I was a bit skeptical at first due to the location, but everything was authentic, good prices and tasted great! As is their name their street tacos were superb! We will definitely revisit when in the area again.
