Mezzo Mare

Cozy, homey dining experience. Staff is excellent. Bountiful plates you could easily share or take half home for another meal. And the fireplace in the winter is a welcome escape from the cold.

Was on vacation and was looking for somewhere to eat late. We came across this restaurant and they were extremely welcoming considering they were closing soon. The wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is a classic, old school, Italian restaurant. All dishes are served with a complementary round of ciabatta bread and salad. The servings were huge and extremely packed with flavor. I got the penne rose which was phenomenal. The prices are extremely reasonable and I really enjoyed my time here as well as my conversations with the staff.

Parking is alittle tough, but all parking in Hull is impossible. Big smiles when entering, very 60's interior with tiffany style lamps hanging from their ceiling. Kathlein and Bonnie were super, with clean uniforms and big smiles always. The menu is filled with the top 10 Italian choices. We shared a dinner, and still had enough for another person. All in all a wonderful experience, and maybe one day, Mezzo Mare will get a update on its interior. PS sorry no Military discount Thanks again

Authentic Italian food. Perfectly cooked Pasta. Enormous proportions. Biggest piece of lasagna I have seen in my life. Midnight Pasta is excellent.

Hidden Gem. A must try for all Italian food lovers. Quaint little spot with excellent food, enormous potions and very low prices.

Friendly staff, quick service, top quality.

Do not be fooled by the location or the old fashioned decor. If incredible customer service, incredible tasting food for incredibly low prices is your thing, you must go to Mezzo Mare for dinner.

I may just be taking the ferry from Boston to Mezzo Mare in the very near future. Let me tell you, the ribeye? Phenomenal. The Chicken and ravioli in Gorgonzola cream sauce? INDESCRIBABLY DELICIOUS. The husband better not touch my leftovers! And with the portion sizes, there WILL be leftovers. We came in the off season, got seated right by a beautiful fire, and it was just us and a few locals at the bar. The waitress did an excellent job recommending a drink, and keeping us topped off without being intrusive during what turned out to be a very romantic dinner. A very well earned five stars.

Great Italian food. Extensive winter selection. Great Oceanside ambiance the fireplace isn't velux the space is heated with an open roaring fire you don't know that smells good because of the burning wood all the meatballs in the kitchen. the price of those prices are reasonable and about 20 to $29 from anything from chicken parm to surf and turf. The additional value comes from the portion size is so much you're going to eat it the next day for lunch and there's nothing better than a little leftover chicken parm

The food is wonderful. Service good. Atmosphere lovely. The fireplace and the antiques add a touch of class.

Food was great! Staff was good and shared points of interest for us out of townies. Both our plates were enough for two, will return on next trip, such good flavors😁

Had dinner here the first time last week. What an experience! Food was wonderful and more than ample. Had enough left over for a second meal. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Only bad thing is we were visiting from out of state and won't be able to come back. 😢

Joe's been around for many years, the sub shop is by far the best, if you want real quality and real italian food definately go to mezzo mare.there sub shop is the best around, hands down.
