Duncan Gun Shop

I’ve done business with Duncan’s since 1985 or 86 . They’ve always treated me well and helped if they could . The “ Shining Star “ in my opinion is the gunsmith “ Charles “ . He’s always fixed and upgraded my guns with top notch quality . I like talking guns with him because of his knowledge about them . I feel confident in asking him questions and even for his advice or opinion on certain guns I’m interested in . He just put a set of TruGlo night sights on for me and did great !

Very kind and knowledgeable staff. The 30 minutes I was in there, I think 4 people asked if I was being taken care of or if they could help me find something but it wasn’t overbearing or annoying. The display they put on for Mothers Day was exceptional and reasonably priced. I’m very happy with my purchase and recommend to ANYONE in the area or passing by to check it out! When I first stepped into Duncans, I was intimidated. As soon as Charles spoke to me I felt confident and heard and seen. I love the staff here and I've been doing business with Duncan's for years. I got my CCW there and have taken many classes they were such fun! I swear it's one of the best things about living in Wilkes county.

Great gun shop. Well stocked with guns, ammunition and accessories. They also keep a good verity in stock. They have a good 50 yard indoor rifle range that I used to sight in one of my personal guns. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. Prices are a little high on some items but that Is likely due to availability.

Where do I start? I have been frequenting Duncan’s for about 4 years now. They seem to have things no one else has. I do wish they carried more reloading essentials. But their service takes a back seat to no one. Their guns, knive selection is always something I go to see. I live about 45-50 minutes away and will pass up several gun stores knowing Duncan’s is my place. Here is one important note, The staff at Duncan’s is the best. Very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife enjoys shopping for firearms. Most other places the support staff talks to her in a condescending tone or direct answers to question she asked. Not at Duncan’s. They have a ladies range day. Love this place!!

I have purchased many pistols and rifles from these guys and they’ve always been great and professional. I even added some accessories to my AR and Charles installed them for me.

The shooting range downstairs is a great addition to this store.

I have done a bit of business here and they are very helpful, knowledgeable, easy going which I appreciate. High quality firearms at reasonable prices, especially with this economy! They also go great gunsmithing and other types of works on guns, which not many do! Lastly, Speaking as one of the coaches, I appreciate how well they work with local Hunter Skills/Shooting Teams when it comes to firearms and ammunition.

I don't do many reviews, so if I do one it means something! I will continue to do business with them and I appreciate them!

Best gun selection in the area. Staff is knowledgeable and always is a big help. Sometimes I have some special requests and they track down the item and always have a fair price. Love this place!

I just like coming here. The store looks a lot better and has really blossomed since the renovation a little while back. Staff are great and eager to help. I get all my knives here anymore; the Ridgerunner Blades corner is super nice with a huge selection of premium blades you won't find locally anywhere else. Ammo prices are fair. Large selection of quality accessories.

A friend and myself went into Duncan’s for the first time back in the summer when they had their soft re-opening. We looked around and admired the tons of inventory they had. We talked to several associates and they literally took the time to answer any questions we may have had. They were highly acknowledgeable and willing to help educate.highly recommend this establishment to anyone. Bring your wallet or purse because they have so much that you’ll want to buy everything

I had a great experience here, staff was helpful and was quick in the buying process. Even did some shooting at the range.

I found Duncan's in 2020. It's a great little place, almost a cozy environment. They have a wicked knife section to the right when you walk in, and firearms around the rest of the place. The staff are nice, and the prices are great. In my experience, the only thing that I can't say good about, is the general lack of a line or checkout process when it gets busy, other than repeat trying for an attendants attention. But that's really due to the customers themselves, not the staff, as there are 2 or 3 cash register points that are easy to spot and form a line to.

Not one to leave much of a review especially at a gun shop, however this place has been a favorite place of mine since I was a kid. Now even more since I can buy firearms. The people working there are great people and super knowledgeable. I love going down and chatting with the people and ofc buying guns. I highly recommend this shop!

Great store, with an honest hard working staff and great customer service. They have one of the best knife shops around. I live nearly an hour away but make sure to stop in when I’m in the area.

Great shop and nice people there. Have guns in stock most people do not carry.bhard to find these days with all online BS. Support your brick and mortar.

Always great customer service! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They carry tons of guns to choose from and don't forget knives! 😉 Duncan Gun Shop is the ONLY place I go to for ammo/guns/knives or even questions! They always have the answer! They also offer classes!

Just a good gun store with good people, and great service.

Rick and his staff were great! They helped me thru my handgun purchase with no problems. They even allowed me to use the range at no charge, to familiarize myself with my new weapon, before I left the store.

The store has an amazing selection of firearms, accessories, and ammunition. I wanted a particular gun with a particular upgraded sight, they had both in stock, and I saved myself $100 over ordering them direct from the manufacturer.

All in all, my experience with this dealer was exceptional, and although I am not a frequent purchaser of firearms, they will always be my go to store for all my personal defense needs.

*Now, a note to the folks complaining about the customer service. Besides the fact that I had excellent customer service, you don't go to a specialty store expecting customer service to be stellar, you go to a specialty store expecting knowledge of the product to be stellar. I was very pleased with both aspects of this business.
