Sol Family Restaurant

Traveling from Clovis New Mexico we came across this restaurant and we’re very pleased with our decision. The Chilequiles was great but our waitress was a little confused when I ordered Christmas. #IYKYK. That being said the green chili portion of Christmas was amazing! It had great flavor and the perfect amount of spice. My wife got a strawberry and cream cheese crepe and said it was also good. Had the perfect amount of sweet with tartness. Delicious! Definitely going to revisit this place when we come back to Guymon.

Great food, and so were the portion sizes. My husband couldn't finish his. The waitress was very helpful & friendly.

Delicious and huge breakfast burrito! Ordered ahead to go as I am just passing through. Eggs, sausage, cheese, peppers, tomatoes, potatoes (add refried beans, no onions per my request) on a fresh flour tortilla for less than $9. Both salsas are bomb. Real happy I drove past the fast food for this. Bonus points for making it correctly without onions- it’s a struggle at Mexican restaurants for some reason. Clearly fresh and authentic Mexican food. Eat here.

A nice place with lots of dishes, with breakfasts, meals and dinners for everyone. The mexican food is incredible autentic, from delicious soft or hard tacos to a big bowl of hot and tasty traditional menudo. Good service and clean place. Specially for those who wants warm food with a lot of taste.

I took my wife here for breakfast and it was very very good! All day breakfast is also an a plus!

I’d eat here every morning if I lived in Guymon. The veggies were super fresh and crisp. Heavy on the flavor.

The server was extremely nice and the food was amazing! It’s more for family dining. The bathroom was handicap accessible. The food was very good and you get your money’s worth. Highly recommend!

Wow, these reviews are all over the place. We had breakfast here and I have nothing bad to say. Also read some reviews pointing out race issues. Well, I am white, husband is black. No issues what so ever. Out waitress was super friendly and attentive. My breakfast (huevos a la Mexicana) was just perfect-- cooked right with a good mix of peppers, onions, tomatoes in my eggs. Very tasty.
So much better than that Chinese buffet next door that we ate last night;)

We grab breakfast here whenever we are in Guymon. Food and service have been great.

Very rich food. Homemade flavors prepared with love. The steak in jalepeno sauce was great. Awesome service. Always refilled coffee. Mexican menu and American menu. Steak heavy. Family is from Durango and Zacatecas.

This place should be on a national registry. Guymon doesn’t know what it has, this place ranks up there and competes for #1 between La Posta in Las Cruces, La Cueva and Rancho de Taos in Taos. The more I think about it, it may be the winner. Fantastic flavors of home cooked New Mexican food. Incredible. Go out of your way to come here, you won’t regret it. It’s so good that I want to thank the family for sharing their families food with the public. Food is family, it’s a celebration of your heritage. Thank you. My recommendation- GO.

Tried it 2 weeks ago and we weren't the happiest with the service. But when we got our food we were beyond impressed. Trucking through Guymon again this weekend and went out of our way to go back. I will go back again and again

I absolutely love coming here. I always get the same thing enchilada plate and the street tacos. Awesome place to stop and get food.

Sol is a gem in Kansas! The chilis rellenos were phenomenal! The giant poblano peppers taste and appear as though they were blackened, peeled, stuffed and then battered? lightly before the final presentation with queso. The flavor was deep and rich. It was mid afternoon and as clean up from a bust lunch played out under Telemundo,we sipped cold unsweetened tea and enjoyed the crepes, yes crepes!, chips and chilis. Thank you Sol!
