Shogun Restaurant

I always get food to go, but it is always done quickly and correct.

I usually order the filet mignon hibachi which takes me multiple sittings to finish and they have the best fried rice of any restaurant I've been to.

This trip to Shogun was delicious! It's been a while since I've been in. The whole experience is a lot better. I will be returning soon for another good meal!

This Family is the best. I have been dining here since 2004 and have never had a unpleasant experience. Food is always outstanding and the young couple who own are very diligent hard working people.

We had a family member’s birthday party and the hibachi grill was fantastic. Our steak and shrimp hibachi was delicious and watching them cook at our table was so much fun. I highly recommend them.

We have had many experiences eating at Shogun and carrying-out. The staff is always great and friendly. Their food is great for being the only local Japanese and sushi restaurant! Highly recommend!

A husband and wife run this resturant and do an amazing job. I've never had bad food from here. From hibachi to sushi they make really good food!

My experience is only with takeout due to my long hours at work but I've never had a complaint. They are patient enough to deal with me wanting all of their chicken 30 minutes before they close so that's incredibly nice of them. Everything that I order comes out fresh and is really tasty. My body often demands Asian food on a weekly basis so this place is a go to for sure. It's so nice to have people that aren't rude each time you call in or stop by! One thing I would highly recommend is their Egg Drop Soup, I won't say it's magical, but it did put an end to one frustrating sore throat.

We ate here for the very first time, since living in Oakland, for the past 5 years. Let me tell you this, the food was AMAZING!! Service was extremely prompt. The hibachi was delicious, and let me add, the Spicy Dragon Roll was AMAZING!! I can see this as a weekly place from now on. The restaurant is small, and I actually like that, its cozy, not over crowded. To the owners, I thank you for a GREAT time. See yall again soon.. Voted❤❤❤❤❤❤

My family and I get takeout from here frequently. They have good sushi and Chinese. Their fried rice is good as well. It is owned and operated by a nice family who work very hard. They may get a little behind occasionally when they are busy, but when they do, you will see them literally running to get caught up.

I come here when I want peace and quiet. The music is not very good, but it's not too loud too ignore. There is Hibachi, but I've always sat at a regular table. The food is good. Fried rice is not my favorite, so I get steamed rice. Wait staff are pleasant and fast. Food always piping hot when served. No buffet.

Our local Chinese cuisine fresh hot friendly food. For you comfort needs during this pandemic time. We love that you can dine in. We want to try the grill.
