I just had my blood taken by the best phlebotomist ever! Her name is Emmanuella . She's friendly, professional, and very competent. I'm one of those patients who has small veins, but she had no problem finding a vein. The procedure was nearly painless! Thanks again, Emmanuella!

Like most everyone says, you'll want Dr. Hamidi. He's attentive, consistent, calm, and well-versed. He made multiple visits to my mom on her visit, stayed well-informed on her condition, and made visits independent of the nurses (very unusual for anyone who knows doctors, because they usually assign it all to the nurses to do) to check on her personally. He gently but insistently reminded her that visiting a trusted primary is vital to good health and not to put off visiting the ER in emergencies.

The nurses were great too, I don't know the names but they fed us pizza, cracked jokes, minded every complaint and handled problems quickly... very good care.

My single complaint would be the wait time, which was about 15-20 minutes for a serious heart issue, but even then I know that's very quick for an ER and the registration staff were watching carefully and reminding the staff of our situation as we waited.

So yeah, all in all 5 stars. If you need to go, go. Think it's not that serious? Let them decide that. It's better to be treated for indigestion than diagnosed with heart failure or something because you pushed it off for too long.

Me and my girlfriend experienced an emergency on the way to VA from FL and had to find the nearest hospital which happened to be Mcleod Dillon. The wait wasn't bad, i talked to one of the nurses because I was worried about my girlfriends state and she quickly got us back and the issue was taken care of quickly and effectively. The nurses and doctor were really professional and kind.
Honestly the nurses and doctor were awesome but i think the front desk is probably the weak link in the chain. I'm not sure how long she would have had to wait if i wasn't badgering the front desk and nurses. Overall we had a GREAT experience in a scary and awkward situation in an area we'd never been to.

We have now had our second child here, after such a positive experience the first time. I actually am from a town thats close to 40 miles away and would happily travel the distance again if need be if I had to because the OB team here is amazing, and deserves all the praise one can give. All of the staff really made it a positive experience as well, the nutrionists and janitorial crew were kind and made sure all of my needs were seen to and that my room was nice throughout. Thanks for the best care possible for me and my little ones McLeod Dillon Hospital!

We live closer to UNC Health Southeastern but we would rather drive here Dr. Amid Hamid is incredible!!! First doctor Ive ever seen to actually sit down and listen. He talked with my fiance for about 30 minutes just listening to him. He didnt seem preoccupied or in a hurry to leave. He really tried to figure out what was going on with him to the best of his ability. Told us to program his number and keep him updated on how he was feeling!!! He felt is amazing!!! Come see him @ McLeod.

I saw some other reviews that were not pleasant and I know there are a lot of different situations.
Just wanted to share that we had a great experience (if you can ever say an ER visit during a global pandemic is great...)

Dr. Hamidi (I think that’s how it was spelled) was amazing. He was thorough, efficient, kind. Communicated with us, showed concern about my health, took the time to answer ALL of our questions with patience and kindness.

Although we aren’t from Dillon, they made us feel at home!

If you are having any type of medical problems please don’t hesitate to go to the hospital. I’m writing this review for my mother who doesn’t like hospitals but when I tell you we received the best care possible, we did! I’m so grateful for this Dillon team that’s here now! Cheers to healing and blessing lives.

Dr. Amid Hamidi you are the best ❤

I don’t know why this place has bad reviews. The other day I was on my first ever road trip From Florida to Virginia. I got stuck in South Carolina with a locked jaw and had no idea what to do. I couldn’t close my mouth for two hours and couldn’t talk and was panicking. The nurses and doctor were so kind and caring to me and this was by far the best experience in a hospital I’ve ever had. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Really great experience. The nurses are all sweet and kind. The doctor treating me, Dr Hamidi, is really great, he was thoughtful, respectful and caring. I know Covid might've affect the service and the energy in the ER but my experience was nothing but nice.

I came on the 15th with a small laceration on my hand. It required some medical glue and I had to receive a tetanus shot (injury was from a metal door). Dr. Hamidi and the nursing staff at McLeod Dillon were incredibly friendly. They welcomed myself (along with my husband) with open arms. They had me in and out of the Emergency Department in about an hour.Thank you so much!

EXCELLENT nurse and doctor. I saw Jennifer (JB?) as my RN and I saw Dr. Hamidi. Good peoples. They took care of my broken knee. I fell off my motorcycle. It was pretty bad. They really took care of me there.

Dr. Hamidi checked on me at least 6 times that I remember. He explained everything. xrays and everything. I appreciate all they done for me. I'm not from the area but if I'm ever going down I-95 and need help I know where to go.
DEFANITELY recommend. I'd bring my children here if they ever need a doctor. It's worth the drive.
