I can’t offer enough praise for Bulverde Spring Branch EMTs Shelley Gass, Reed Mackerel, and Travis Campbell who responded to my call for help when my husband slipped on ice. They were kind, competent, and compassionate. They made certain we were safe and secure before leaving even moving my car from the icy driveway into the garage. Thank you so much.

My wife and I would like to express our sincere gratitude and commendation of your Fire and EMS staff from North Hwy 281, Indian Hills near FM 306 who responded to our unexpected emergency tuation last Saturday, April 25, 2015.. Michelle Ruiz Albert was head of the EMS and the Fire crew. They were all very caring and helpful..

We were marking the outside boundaries of a vacant land that we just bought at Mystic Shores. It was hot and humid but there were plenty of shade trees but did not realize that my wife would get into an emergency situation whereby she felt dizzy and disoriented after a couple of hours in the woods.
She was not drinking much water and was not sweating. We were on our way back to out pickup truck that was parked on the street about 300 feet away.Timing was bad because the bottles of cold water that we brought were about empty and I could not do anything because she started feeling nauseous and was just hanging onto me because she has gotten very weak.

The crew took her (with me following in my pickup truck) to Baptist Emergency Hospital at Overlook and Hwy 281. Thank God that after so many test my wife came out without any complications and everything with her was OK.

When we got home from the Hospital at about 6:30 PM, the phone rang and it was Michelle Albert on the phone inquiring if my wife is OK. I told her that she was fine and reiterated our sincere thanks to her and her whole staff. We thought that gesture was super nice of her to do. It was exceptional and a reflection of the staff you have at Bulverde/Spring Branch EMS. Thanks a Million to y'all!

Sincerely.

Accident on 12-31-12, while I was trying to get all the pertinent information from the Police and make sure the other victims were OK, all the volunteer response person was doing was insisting that I sign his computer generated report. I didn't call the Service and had no injuries, and now I am getting billed for services that I didn't request or need. I have called all the numbers from the 3 party billing, sent a letter of dispute, and call the Bulverde-Spring Branch EMS service number and all I get is no results. this has been going on for 4 months now and I can't get any results. I personally think it is nothing but insurance hunting for funds that once you get tired of messing with a service that didn't happen you finally just turn it over to the insurance agency to get it paid. I am furious with this type of non responsible public service. How would this be Award Winning if no one will take on the responsibility of answering simple billing mistakes????
