Fischer's Meat Market

Very rare and hard to find grocery items in this German grocery store along with all the meat, cheese and baked goods you can eat.

Just an absolute treasure of a meat market and grocery store!!! Everything in here with the Fischer label is worth it's weight in gold. These folks have been doing this for a long time and it shows. If you are in the area, you have to stop in and check this place out! You will not regret it!!

The sign coming into town said a great place to buy meats. So we could not resist and made the stop. We were not disappointed. Besides being a regular grocery store, they have a marvelous selection of meats and cheeses. The bonus, very reasonably priced. The man behind the meats counter was super friendly and very helpful. It was a great stop for us. The store was very clean.

Got some good German meat to take home and cook. Prices are reasonable

Great service, clean atmosphere, just a really nice supermarket with awesome German food. A great place to come and get some sausage some smoked cheeses, or some strudel that you haven’t ever tried before! Can’t really go wrong if you want to enjoy some new flavors.

What a nice little grocery store!! We really enjoyed the German feel of this place, as well as the town. They also have many local products with their store's label on it, giving a German spin on American seasonings, sauces, sausages and more. I hope to return to visit this place and other shops in the town when it is not so hot. Recommendations to anyone who wants to experience small-town Germany without leaving Texas.

Great place to get that unique cheese or meat item they have fresh bread and other items as well along with a variety of people who set up for you to try items in the store.

A must see . They have the best meats , best Dell. Danishes, all made from scratch, fresh made daily , will be back soon . The associates here are very friendly and helpful.

We drive two hours to do our shopping at the meat market at least once a month. I truly love the experience every time. Great home town folks.

If you are looking for authentic German meats and sides go no further. They have a 60 foot meat counter with all the options x2. Great friendly people feels like hometown America...worth the drive but bring your cooler.

Huge selection of fresh made sausages. More salad dressings, salsas, marinades, picked everything, and hand than I thought possible. This is a must go to grocery store!

Had all the meats we were looking for. Thought we would have limited choices in the country. Great place.

We talked to some locals and they recommend we check out this place for their meat and cheese. All I can say is wow. A true German meat market with an excellent selection of sausages and cheeses. So far I have tried a few of their cheeses and beef jerky and they were great. They still have people to carry out your groceries to your car too.

The tower chimes every so often and puts on a little show too.
