Cearbhall Home Slaughter Services

The Cearbhall family came to our place February 29th and butchered these 2 250lb hogs. They did a fantastic job, from the humane Slaughter all the way to vacuum sealing the meat to our specs. The sausage grind was spot on! I highly recommend them and have already scheduled them back out for a steer butchering job.

These guys kept us posted, showed up on time, and handled the job professionally in a timely manner. They are all very knowledgeable and had plenty of patience to answer any question we had. It was more than a fair price for the job they did. We can't thank them enough. Great Job!!

I am thankful I could host y’all at my farmstead. Y’all are educational, patient, Amazing, Fun, Honest, and down to earth. We asked so many questions and y’all took the time to answer all of them. I highly recommend.

Cearbhall Home Slaughter service came to my place to process four pretty good sized hogs. Not only were they able to get them done in one day, but they were extremely patient with me and were happy to answer all my questions. They were also very diligent in their record keeping and were able to have my customers that bought live animals from me pay them separately. Not only was this whole process informative, but our meat was beautifully processed and packaged! This is a nice family business and these folks are extremely hard working and knowledgeable.

Wow! There was no messing around when they got to business. They handled everything with the utmost professionalism, and answered every question I had. They made sure everything was in order, sealed, and gave me all the info I could ever need. Will definitely call them for any butchering needs.

We needed to fill our freezer and Cearbhall Home Slaughter coupled with Jim Franks Farm Direct have us exactly what we needed. They answered all of our questions and explained the process to us very well.

Excellent teachers and processors. We learned so much in our first class that we already signed up for another! Highly recommend! They know what they are doing and have a great ability to share their knowledge with others.

This weekend was a hard weekend. We had to teach our girls a lesson we were not prepared to teach them yet. Over the past year or so there were many jokes that were made about our daughters first bucket calf, Bolt. We joked that since he was a bull we either needed to eat him or sell him. Deep down, my husband and I knew he would live out his days in our pasture because that was her first baby. While our girls are very clear on where the meat in our diet comes from, we weren't prepared to have to have these talks with animals that they have loved and cared for from bottles on up.

Unfortunately, there was another bull nearby who was a repeat offender when it came to getting out of unmended fences. The two took to fighting through a fence and Bolt ended up with a broken leg. We knew what had to be done, but telling that to a six year old who absolutely loved this baby was exceptionally hard. We laid out the options to her and she bravely chose to let Bolt feed the family if we could find someone to process him in a timely manner. She didn't want to attract any predators to the property and put the other animals in danger.

A quick google search, and two desperate calls for a mobile butcher and we found Cearbhall Home Slaughter Services LLC. These people were absolutely amazing. They were quick to respond, understood we had a very unpleasant situation on our hands and that we were trying to make the best of it. As soon as they got the call, they immediately sprang into gear and was at our place in a short amount of time. They treated this sweet boy with such respect and used the opportunity to educate us on as much or as little of the process as we wanted to be involved with.

If you're looking for this type of service, these people are top notch. They process, cows, pigs, lambs and more. Just no poultry! They are very caring and knowledgeable. They were able to make a very sour situation and was to turn it into a learning opportunity for us, and some tasty beef in the freezer. It was just an unfortunate life lesson for the kiddos.

Great experience overall. This duo knocked the home service out of the park. This was my 1st time harvesting on this scale. They did all the work from start to finish and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. (2) 300 lb pigs all nice and vacuum packed and ready for the freezer. Really neat their one of a kind trailer set up. We will be using them in the future. Book months ahead of time!

I attended their calf slaughter class this past weekend. Jim and Tabitha were very informative. They totally de-mystified the whole process from dispatch to packaging. They provided a very warm and friendly environment that was very conducive to learning. I am happy to have met them and attended their class and would definitely use their services in the future.

What an absolutely amazing family providing outstanding mobile slaughtering services. They were more than happy to answer any & all questions before, during & after the work was done and there were no doubts that we got ALL of our beef from our bull. Highly recommended & we will book with Cearbhall Home Slaughter again, no doubt!

Wonderful family and great service. Very easy process and professionally done. Trailer is very nice and clean. They answered all my questions and did a terrific job with our animal. This was our first time having a large animal slaughtered, and it was a great experience. Recommend giving them a call!

I was at the pig butchery class on 7 January. They put on a very interesting and informative class. They go at a pace that keeps the day go by quickly but answer all questions during and stay after until all questions are discussed on many subjects.

Cearbhall mobile butcher came out today to process our 1485 pound steer. From beginning to end it is was a smooth process and great to watch. Can’t wait to eat the meat and hope to be booking our next appointment soon. Thank you so much.
