Brookshire City Park

Seems peaceful, large area if you want to walk the fenced in perimeter, has a kid soccer field, playground, need to follow restrictions including no drinking or smoking which is great kids don't need to see that anyways

Great place to bring your kids in to release the energy they have

This is a really great part to picnic it's gated so people bring there dogs and don't have to worry about their child running into the street. Very clean and well kept

DISCOVERY PARK. Great family time and meeting areas. Cool and kids can roam the yard

This park is nice. There is a rocket style play ground with two benches. Then in the side there is a large concrete area with a shaded area. When I went there was a group practicing for a Quincanera.

If your kids like to climb then this is definitely the playground for you! Lots and lots of activities on this playground that are very unique ideas. There is also soccer goals, a pavilion with rocking chairs & picnic tables, a community garden and lots of grassy area to have picnics. I didn't see an area for parking so I just parked on the side of the park on 5th Street across from the cotton gin.

My 3 year old LOVED this park! It has the standard lots of slides, but also some interesting equipment. It sparked some cool physics discussions with my 13 year old sister, which is always a plus. =)

This place was really nice. I thought that it would be the perfect spot for a party celebration (child's bday, baby's howler, etc). Very clean. Loved the covered patio area with seating.

Kids had a blast... It's good to see a well kept... Old fashion park... (It's modern - just some of the play areas I have not seen in a while)...

This park is very nice and clean, there is alot of room for kids to play. I have a 2 year old and this park has helped me to keep him busy.

This us a nice place to take young kids to play it's fenced in and has lost of room you can have food there to for birthday or what ever❤❤

This park is very good because it doesn't look like it was copy-pasted from a format. Another great thing about this park is that there is some equipment that one could potentially hurt themselves on which makes it much more fun.

Nice clean park in a quiet Location, not too big however, nice for 1 or 2 families to picnic, or a yoga/pilates class

Clean and open, with enough covering for a rainy day or shade on a hot day
