Byron's Pitstop

My son was traveling from Louisiana to Washington State. Truck started losing power 15 miles from Byron's. They quickly diagnosed a bad fuel pump and installed it hte next morning. He was on the road by lunch. Great service, great people. Highly recommend!

We were very happy that these guys were able to help us when we broke down driving through Texas. We have a Volkswagen Winnebago Rialta which isn’t a very common RV, but they diagnosed the problem and got us back on the road in no time and at a fair price. You’ll be in good hands with these guys.

I was travelling w/my dog from Atlanta to Colorado when my car broke down right in the middle of town. Honestly, it was pretty scary but if your gonna break down this is the town. The Sheriff quickly called some friends to push my car to safety. Billy the local tow truck driver was there in minutes and seemed to know everyone in town. We took it into Byron's.

Byron was very friendly and confident with the repair. I felt like I was in good hands. Austin, my mechanic, was very thorough at explaining both the problems & solutions. They got me in and out in one morning. I feel safe to make it on to the mountains. Oh, and the best part, my dog was welcome everywhere! Honestly, I wish people everywhere where like all the people I have come in contact with in Clarendon.

Great, honest, and friendly mechanic who helped me as I was traveling through when a check engine light and engine shudder suddenly came on. Byron was very up front in explaining my problem, quick to repair, and in no way tried to up charge me. I very much appreciate being able to get back on the road quickly thanks to his help and would recommend his shop in a heart beat!

Byron’s pit stop I’m gonna start by saying these cats are FIRST CALSS HONEST!
Driving from Fort Collins Colorado in route to CLW beach FLA the tension pulley and one of the belts decided to take a permanent lunch break on the 2000 VW Rialta.
The location is next door to an RV park which was hella convenient! They ordered parts knocked on RV @ 8am next day and on road in an hour.

During our road trip to TX, a warning light appeared on our car right before we arrived in Clarendon. I called Byron the next morning and although he was extremely busy, he was able to check and diagnose the issue right away. He was very friendly and professional. Thank you so much for the great service!

They replaced a wheel bearing for me. They worked with my busy schedule and even stayed after hours to finish so I could leave for my road trip. I highly recommend this business and will be using them for all my car services from now on!

We broke down in Clarendon with our large RV and made our way to Byron’s. It was a fuel pump that went out. They went out of their way to get us back on the road and had to make two runs into Amarillo for us as well. If you need a mechanic. These people will take care of you. Salt of the earth.
