I am so happy we found this place while traveling back to California. Great, delicious food and totally recommend the cheesecake. True authentic Mexican food. The place was clean and our server Laura was very friendly. We got a chance to meet the owner he was very nice too.

Ordered a cheeseburger and a grilled chicken salad to go. The staff was very friendly. I loved the atmosphere. My food was ready rather quickly (I was there during dinner rush)
My cheeseburger was huge and very tasty. The chicken salad had tons of grilled chicken on it and lots of fresh veggies.
I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We found JD Steakout while traveling through the area by Googling restaurants. Wow! The steak was excellent, so tender, cooked just right! Friendly people, enjoyed our meal. Loved the cheesecake too!

14 bucks for the toughest ribeye (yeah, not sure on that cut) tater was good but under cooked. Salad was Walmart looking mixed lettuce with onion… just I in a couple of cracker packets and dressing. Not worth the money. 17.21 with tea. Left the rest of a 20 for the waitresses they were doing a good job. Won’t be back…

I live in utah and this doesnt have to do with the food but i had left my engagement ring at the gas station across the street and after traveling 100+ miles i got a hold of somebody who went and retrieved it for me and is willing to send it to utah. Food is one things but being a good human is a whole different ball park 10/10

Wonderful food! The hardshell tacos were so good. They make their own shells and fill them with lots of beef. We also enjoyed the cheesecake. The staff were very welcoming and did a great job taking care of our large family. Nice place to stop when headed through Clarendon on a road trip. We will definitely stop by again.

A friend and I both had the chicken sour cream enchiladas. They were awesome! Our other friend had a taco salad. She said it was great too. Very happy. Speedy, friendly service.

Great little place. Hand patted burgers cooked on a a flattop. Homemade onion rings. Friendly staff. Obviously a popular place with locals because the servers knew people by name and knew what they normally ordered. It’s a 5 star in the category of good roadside places to stop.

Passing through town and found this little place. I had the chili relleno and I must say they are the best I've ever eaten since moving to Texas. Absolutely perfect. My kids had catfish and raved about the tarter sauce. Hubby had a chicken fry and said it was very good. The service was superb.

came in 15 minutes befor close and they were happy to serve us. frosted beer mugs are great.

Friendly service and good food. They have a wide variety of dishes. I had the tamale plate, which was good. The chicken strips and chopped steak that other patrons ordered looked good too.

Took some students to lunch to celebrate a victory. Service was quick and friendly, and the food was tasty and filling. I recommend the quesadilla; my students recommend the Mexican stir-fry.
