They have the most fantastic desserts! There hamburgers are awesome, and they have recently add home cut curly fries! Staff is friendly! Well worth a visit!!

I would argue that this is the best restaurant in north Alabama. I haven't had a Philly cheese steak that good since I was last in Philadelphia. Amazing atmosphere, amazing staff, even better food. If you don't try this place at least once you are missing out!!

Great food, small town friendly folks!

This Cafe is a great little place my husband and I just found. We were in the area looking at some land and decided it was time to check out the community. The food was great and service was even greater. We had chicken salad and we had French fries with cheese and bacon as our appetizer. Fries were fresh and hot. We brought some home to our daughter and she loved them, too. It's definitely a cute and quaint, little place and well worth the time to check it out. I love that there is history with the location and proudly shared on the walls. Let me not leave without adding how hard the girls were working to make sure we were served when we first got there.

This is your small town restaurant that you love to go to. We had the fish sandwich and the Philly. Very tasty, just enough food, not overloaded on the fries and a great price. All you want in a lunch. The staff was very nice and quick service. They kept up with drinks and checked in a couple of times to ensure all was well at our table.

First time eating here. Small and cozy, but clean. Had a taco salad and my husband had the country fried chicken. Our meals were very good. Rating was 95. Service was friendly food delivered with a smile.

We decided to try a cafe near Elkmont High School since we were here for a Volleyball tournament! We were very impressed with Red Caboose 👍🏼 Atmosphere was quaint and family friendly!! The food was really good, hot & fresh. We ordered the philly sandwich, club sandwich, fried pickles & cheesesticks and ALL were delicious 😋🤤 Great Mom & Pop cafe with relaxed vibe!

I was blown away at how amazing the cheese burger was. All the sides I tried were fresh tasting and delicious. Great selection of food without an enormous menu. I'm definitely going back.

Updated review....since new ownership Red Caboose in great! With good pricing and great food you can't go wrong. The new icecream setup is definitely a plus. Definitely would recommend eating here!

Everyone enjoyed the food. Have a daily special. Very understanding of my allergies. She made my drink first and brought I to me before she made everyone else's tea with lemon.

A taste of a small home town restaurant. Its is surprising how good it is. Folks are nice and friendly. The restaurant and that area have character. Correct u are. I could not spell ambiance. Hungry? This place is for you.

The café is quaint and the food is very good. We had the fried catfish special and it was very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. We requested substitutions for some of the sides and they gladly gave us what we wanted.

Food takes a moment to get out, but it has that small-town feel! Their menu is amazing for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The food is more amazing than the menu!! I will be coming back sometime if I can!

If you're looking for something other than fast food along the interstate, take the less than 5 mile side trip to this cafe. The food was great. The prices cannot be beat. And, the service is above all else.

My husband and I noticed this restaurant on our way through Elkmont months ago and finally made time to stop by. We loved the historic building and the food was delicious! We will definitely be back.

Absolutely was smitten with this cafe . Loved the atmosphere, our server was so nice and we had a good meal.....after that we looked around the little town such a nice place...
