Roosters Restaurant

Someone brought a tray of chicken for my mom’s celebration of life to church. I’m not a chicken eater, but this were the best chicken fingers I have ever had. Phenomenal. Super tender and so much flavor.

Love me some 🐓Roosters! Years ago, there was one in Huntsville & 1 in Madison... they closed & so I had to drive to Decatur if I wanted it! Then they closed! When I moved to Athens & saw that they had one, I was SUPER excited!♡♡♡ I love the SHROOMS w/ Ranch dressing!¡! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜 & the 911 traditional Wings! There was a super nice older guy that worked the drive thru & he told me something about eating 🍄 cures any cravings for red meat... or something like that!

Love there food. Always good. Fried pickles, fish fingers and chicken tenders are my favorite. But the best is the homemade ranch and house sauce.

So on 2/27/22 I went by to grab a bite before heading home and my husband got a bacon cheeseburger and fries which he said was very tasty. I ordered just a side salad and feel that $4.50 is a little pricey for a handful of lettuce, (1) cucumber slice and (2) individual cherry tomatoes. I was not impressed with salad so for my part this go around it was a little disappointing 😔

This restaurant has a really great southern vibe. The food is delicious! You looking for good fried food this is a great place! I love how they have the paper plates and rolls of paper towels on the tables. It gives me such a small town family vibe. I’ve been 3 times always order the tenders and put the honey gold sauce on them. And their salads are very generous!

The French fries have so much flavor and were just the right amount of crispy. The baked beans are probably the best I have ever had. Of course their chicken is just as good as everything else. You can't leave without some sweet tea though!

BLT is amazing and chicken tenders are juicy, thick, crunchy. Fries are good and service was quick and polite.

We had a large order Saturday night and everything was perfect! We were visiting my in Athens so 8 of us were from GA. They have to BEST wings I've ever had and I eat wings ever week. All of the kids also enjoy their boneless wings. I highly recommend Rooster's.

Used drive thru. But, let me tell you, the prices and food are great ! I was completely surprised by the fact that the food and prices were well within reach for my budget. I worry that whenever we decide to go out, our budget won't support the cost. But Roosters is really inexpensive compared to any of the other places that serve chicken in Athens. The food was fresh and tasty, and portions were not small.

Best wings around! They were slammed busy at closing time on a Monday night, but everything was still delicious. The spicy BBQ wing sauce is delicious and the cajun ranch fries are soooo good.

Love roosters. They have the best salads and the best ranch. The mushrooms are excellent. Very efficient service even when the line is wrapped around the building

We go to Roosters about once a month for dinner, and have always been pleased with whatever meal selections we choose. The staff are always positive and smiling, and it is always clean.

Let me just say that Roosters is the bomb! Your food is always cooked fresh and delicious! I've had the chicken nuggets. Which by NO means are your typical fast food nuggets. Somebody cut the delectable chicken, battered, and fried the yummy morsels themselves! Amazing! The wings....sauced well( but...get xtra wet if you're a saucey person like me) fried to perfection, fries are crispy and hot, and the drinks are not full of ice...the proper ratio! I would highly recommend Roosters for a meal!

The absolute best wings I've had, no contest. The Sweet Heat is awesome, and they have actual blue cheese for dipping instead of just ranch like some places. Staff is super friendly. So worth the drive from Madison.

One of our favorite spots in Athens! Apparently we aren't the only one. I drove through Saturday and the parking lot was packed and the drive-thru line was long! That says a lot about the food! If you love chicken, Rooster's is where it's at! 🐓

There was several of us and it was super fast to get our food.You can dine in or take out,call in your order.
They have chicken fried or baked,shrimp,burgers,fries,fried dill pickles,salads.Many more Items but you can’t go wrong ordering anything really the food was great,the portions were huge.The prices were comparable to other restaurants.

Great food that is always fresh! They have a really good house sauce. Only odd thing is the lobby floor. It's sticky yet kind of slick. Overall the tables and drink station is kept clean.

Food was excellent! Due to storms... internet was down so at the time we were there they could only take cash.

They are fast, food is hot. Onion rings were crispy. Ordered chicken and shrimp. Both good.

I was a little disappointed that they didn't have my all time favorite item but other than that I was happy that my food was fresh and hot and delicious 😋😋 and the customer service was very good
