Artesia Brewing

Fantastic brewery in northeast Illinois! Stopped here as a break on my drive, and all the beers I tried were great. Beautiful space, will have to come back in the warm months to use the outdoor areas!

Amazing brewery with unique and delicious offerings. Current favorites: P.B.aLe Porter (made with real peanut butter...easily the best pb brew I've ever had and served with a Nutter Butter) and First Crush (best cider, hands down). Try the Flora Luna for something unique (hibiscus-based Mead). Better yet, get a flight or two and try everything

Prices are great and the offerings even better. You can't go wrong with this brewery that utilizes honey, hops, apples, and other ingredients grown and harvested by the family that owns the brewery. Open Friday evenings and Sat 12-10

Edit 6/25/22: if possible, this brewery is even better. Incredibly kid-friendly with all sorts of toys, bikes, a basketball shoot, chalk table, etc. Local food trucks supply a wonderful variety of food options and support the local economy. The Little Library is such a wonderful addition: pick out a book and enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon with literature and libations. Live music on Saturday evenings and so many seating options ensure a great time at this brewery. Recent favorites of this reviewer: Shake My Tree (peach- absolutely delicious!!) and Stout's Honor, a stout honoring the Thin Mint cookie. The flavors are incredible and the atmosphere can't be beat!

First time there this evening for a birthday celebration with family. It was a great experience! Very friendly atmosphere. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

What a tremendous gem and a lovely brewery in the heart of farmland Thawville,IL! Beautifully crafted with a contemporary and antique feel and DELICIOUS beer, ciders, and mead. Family-run/owned, fantastic, and more than friendly with lots of outside space too!

Worth the drive from anywhere! We were taking scenic route from North Aurora to Southern IL & found ourselves here. Patriarch Morris immediately greeted us and shared some special stories and great brews . Amazing on all levels.

Artesia is a great brewery out in the country. Our latest visit was for Oktoberfest. They had great in house German beer selections, food catered in by a local German restaurant and music. We try to make it there at least 2 times per month.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience! The beer was delicious, the ambiance was amazing and best of all…it’s kid/family friendly!! The staff could not have been any more accommodating and kind. 10/10 recommend!

The Jack Attack Beer , a Pumpkin beer, was awesome, had to bring some home with me

Great brewery - a nice surprise in the 'middle of the fields'.
Great to make this and some of the others part of a day long crawl across east central Illinois.
Flights offered - samples offered. Good prices, good flavors. Went back for seconds during the visit.

Love this place. Closed on Sundays, however, opened up to refill our growler and let us pick up a couple of Christmas gifts! Great people, great stories! We will make the 2 hour round-trip drive anytime!!!

Wonderful little brewery hidden just outside of Delrey. I look forward to watching them grow.

Loved our visit here! The brewery is an awesome, homey place, and you can tell the owners really take pride in their farm and what they do. The beer and mead selection was great, and the family was very personable and friendly. Will definitely be coming back here!

Truly incredible place. Neat backstory, beautiful scenery, everything locally sourced, wonderful ambience, and THE most delicious and original flavors of beer I have ever tasted. Seriously. A-mazing.

They also have a food truck out front with really good burgers, tacos, burritos, and fries.

The family that started this are truly amazing people. Very genuine and outgoing, not only brewing fantastic libations with unique flavors, but going out of their way to make you feel welcome. The brewery is kind of in the middle of nowhere, but it is a lovely site located on several hundred acres of farmland, with an orchard, hops, and beehives on site, all of which are used in their drinks. It’s a welcomed escape from the hustle and bustle of busy city and suburban life. All they need now is a hotel next door.

Highly recommend coming here!

This is a great brewery with great people. A must try, there's at least 1 beer you'll enjoy. I just enjoyed 3 great beers!

It’s bigger than it looks, tons of seating outside. Their Iroquois Pale Ale is one of the best hazy IPAs I’ve ever had. Try the shake your tree and hot for teacher. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful country venue, wonderful people and creatively crafted beer - love it!
