We had excellent customer service and support from Ken. We took a very long time with fitting and trying out numerous shoes before finalizing our two choices. Ken was patient & accommodating and he made excellent suggestions for our needs. There is definitely a feeling of personalized customer service that is not available in big box stores. We drove 40 minutes to get here & will do it again.

I think this is the best shoe store that I and my grandmother have ever been to before! The man who runs the store was very patient while we picked out shoes, and fitted us for with excellent shoes. My grandmother was so thrilled with the shoes that she ended up walking out of the building on one of the pairs, and then decided she wanted another identical pair, which were brought out to the car for her by the salesman since she has issues walking. I got a pair of matching shoes and I think they are the best shoes I've every worn! We will be coming back for sure!

Best place to get Birkenstocks in Michigan. Fantastic customer service that takes all of the guess work out of buying shoes. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience.

Lucky for us there is still a high quality shoe store in our city. My foot was measured for the pair of shoes I selected. I tested out a comfort insole and some elastic laces, both of which were installed for me by the owner. My feet feel heavenly. I will never buy a pair of cheap shoes again. It was a lovely experience as well. Every pair of shoes in the store was a super high quality. I look forward to selecting my next pair of shoes.

I’ve been in a few times and both brothers have been so kind and courteous. They’re both very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting shoes. They really took their time with me and gave me lots of options to consider for my poor arthritic feet. Highly recommend, will definitely be coming back!

I was visiting from NC and went with a local friend to find help for beginning plantar fasciitis. The salesman was knowledgeable and helpful. I got some orthotic inserts from Birkenstock which feel great and fit in many of my shoes. I also purchased some Dansko walking shoes. When I got home I realized that they were a little too small. I called the store and they told me to ship them back and that they'd send me the next size up. I got the new shoes 3 days after my first pair arrived back at their store. I appreciate the good customer service.

If I could give more starts I would, Kenneth not only went above and beyond to help me find a shoe, but he has the best personality out there. I highly recommend this store to anyone, make sure to get the dog socks too! Super comfy

Been working in the Village for 8 years and I finally made it over to this store. My feet have been killing me off and on for years. Currently I would end up limping by mid day. I got a 40 min lesson on why my feet hurt and left with a pair of insoles that literally fixed my feet immediately. A lot of advice on what brands I should buy and how to fit my shoes better. I will be buying my work shoes here from now on.

These guys at Haig's are truly great. I won't go anywhere else for my shoes. I USED to buy $49 shoes at a discount store but, after I started having some foot problems, Haig's was recommended to me by the foot doctor to get proper shoes that fit my feet correctly. The brothers in the store go out of their way to make sure you are getting what you want. They are VERY knowledgeable about shoe construction, materials, locations of manufacture and proper fit. You won't get THAT at the discount shoe store! I've purchased 4 pair of shoes from them over the last 4-5 years and have always been very pleased. On my last shoes, they even converted the shoe to a "slip-on" by finding stretchable laces and cut and installed them to the proper length. GO THERE, you'll be happy!
OK, the shoes there are more expensive than those at the discount stores but, in this case, you DEFINITELY get what you pay for!

Fantastic experience choosing new orthopedic shoes. The owners were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. There was an answer for every one of my questions and a solution for every adjustment. Highly recommend!

Great customer service. Was very helpful with finding a good workshoe for my wife while she's in her restaurant. We actually switched to a cheaper model with more comfort then we went in there for. Allot of places are just ok with taking your money and sending you out the door.

Service here is the best! So friendly and helpful. I actually came here for a Rollz Motion 2 rollator/transport chair and not shoes. I was so impressed and happy with all the help on how to use it and letting us test it around the shop.

Ken provides pleasant "old school" shoe fit service for my difficulit to fit feet. Yes, you pay more at Haigs, although as the saying goes "you pay for service". I'm thankful I found Haigs that is committed to customer satisfied fits. Everywhere else I went I heard "this is what we have". Yes, I will be back.

Great little shoe shop. Stopped by after work and was amazed at the high quality brands in stock. Owner was nice and helpful and got me hooked up with a great pair of Ecco shoes for this summer!

Salesman made sure my shoes fit comfortably before I left by customizing my inserts. Also sold me a tan shoe polish to match my shoes. He reminded me to come back if I needed any fine tuning.

I am fairly young and I have all kinds of feet problems from Plantar Fasciitis, bone spurs, and Morton's Neuroma. Did I mention that I also have orthodics? Anyway, it's really difficult to find comfortable and some what stylish shoes. If it were not for Haig Shoes, I am not sure what I would do. I need to go to a place like Haig's where they know what they are doing to help me get the right fit. Did I also mention that they are willing to order for you what they do not have in the store. Now that is real top notch service. Thanks.

Great place ! Owner is very knowledgeable about shoes and socks . I learned so much about why my feet sweat and they had some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever put on.
